· Soil Cultivation. They are an alternative to the standard hoe. It will be anough just to to click the RMB to treat the soil and prepare it for planting crops. So after crafting such claws, you will not have to change the tool in your hand every time during farming anymore.

· Piercing Shields. If a player or mob uses a shield, you will be able to use your claws to pierce it and deal damage. So they are another weapon option that is effective against shields in the game.

And considering that they are also a means of destroying foliage, you actually save as many as three inventory slots!
