what this mod offers that most other ones dont
a lot of mechanics in combat
items add to vanilla minecraft and not just to the mod
consistant spawning (spawns in a designated place and time)
low volume sounds - i try to make sounds below a certain amplitude (some sounds may be still loud tho)(cantbreathe mentioned)
animated jumpscare
regular updates (man from the fog mentioned)

I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ON THE RAKE, i watch almost every video anyone makes on the rake. it helps me find bugs and ways on improving the mod and i love to see you play with the rake no matter how small your channel is !!!
Q & A
Q-how do i trigger bloodhour?
A-the rake has 500hp when he gets on 50hp he either retreats or rages and becomes bloodhour!!!

Q-when does the rake spawn?
A-at night, he doesnt spawn in the dark he spawns at night so you dont have any worry of him during the day.

Q-how do i get music disks?
A- you can get music disks by defeating him or surviving bloodhour (he shits them out)

Q-why wont the rake disappear?
A-he doesnt disappear after chasing you for some time, he chases you infinitly until its day or you defeat him.

Q-how do i trigger Visionhour?
A-every night theres a 1/10 chance visionhour will happen.

Q-why cant i sleep
A-because the mod disables sleeping, you can turn it off by setting disabledisablesleeping to true in the config, plus i dont get you guys, why did you install night monster that goes away during the day just to completly ignore night monster that goes away during the day.
MOD DESIGN
The Rake is extremly based on the rake and its fan games, so any die hard rake fans will probably like this mod, I made the mod to be as uncheeseable as possible (adding counters to counters) ... however there are some intentional weakness/counters. The mod has a lot of consistancy (he only spawns at night, in a designated area (rake cave). This mod also adds some items, I tried to make them useful outside of just the rake E:G the weapons work on anything classed as a monster. The Rake himself is supposed to be a boss, you can either run away from him or fight him.
Rake`s weakness & strengths
STRENGTHS
deals large amounts of damage (can 3 shot you without armor)
can climb
can teleport (if he cant get you)
has a chance to trigger bloodhour when low on health (1/5)
can swim fast and underwater
can jump high to reach you
can block attack (blocks more the lower on health he is)
can sneak up on you and one shot you
can squeak though gaps
if you stun him too much he can get into rage and ignore stun and get buffs (for 10s)
can smell you through walls
when sneaking will crouch down and hide eye glow texture to minimise detection
can breaks a lot of blocks
WEAKNESSES
is slower than you
the weapons counter him very well
retreats during the day
fire (warning may not be the best idea)
can be easily stunned
mods that are very much NOT recommend
1.sound physics - will sometimes block out sounds and make some important sounds silent
2. shaders - will block out the special fog during modes
3.player revive - rake will attacked downed players
mods that are very much recommended
1. true darkness - makes night dark giving a better ambiance and cover for the rake
2. any fog mod - also adds better fitting ambiance
3.bad mobs - prevents any normal vanilla mobs from spawning (you have to config it)
