Trading is a significant factor in the development of anyone who decides to play Minecraft. At all stages of your survival, you have to interact with villagers or wandering traders to buy valuable materials or blocks from them and exchange the excess resources you have accumulated. Any peaceful village in Minecraft gives substantial advantages, and if you manage to find such a settlement at the start, be sure to place a map marker so that you can return there and exchange with NPCs. However, you do not have to limit yourself to standard game features. You can add the Antique Trading Ship mod to your build and interact with a whole new type of merchants!

The Antique Trading Ship mod adds a unique trading ship to the game that will appear in aquatic biomes. They will be randomly generated in different areas of the map and look roughly the same. There will be villagers on board, with whom you will be able to trade. They will have plenty of different materials, which will be highly useful to you. If the player finds such a ship, they will be able to significantly enrich themselves, as it is full of various goods to purchase. Such an abundance of loot is a great motive for all players, but it will be not that easy to find such a ship...

It is also practically an altogether new kind of dungeon for Minecraft, which you have certainly never seen before. That is because this mod adds a trading ship filled with treasures, and even if the player does not want to trade with the villagers on board, they can collect a lot of valuable resources inside and enrich themselves. The latter include diverse food, building and decorative blocks, valuable materials and resources, armor and weapons, seeds, etc. There are various barrels and chests scattered throughout the ship, and there is something in each one. Most of them are on the deck — it will be enough just to explore the entire location and see what lies there. We recommend taking bags or some other types of containers, such as shulker boxes, with you capable of accommodating such an amount of materials.

There are indeed a lot of resources there, but they will take up most of your inventory simply because of their abundance. Thus, you will find hundreds of incomplete stacks. You will be able to collect that loot selectively or take everything at once. For that, you will need shulker boxes or similar containers from custom mods. But if you want to trade with the villagers, it will be enough to approach any of them and start the exchange process. The principle is the same as with ordinary villagers: you give away emeralds or some other materials to get different blocks, potions, books, etc. However, the range of goods here is completely different from the vanilla game version, as it was arranged exclusively for the Antique Trading Ship mod.

If you want to get a discount on all the items sold and exchanged, you can try to spawn a zombie there or bring it by boat. However, you will have to lock down every villager somewhere so that they do not run away. Indeed, they can easily jump off the ship and appear somewhere nearby on the oars. In total, there are about 5–10 mobs you can trade with. We recommend you close them somewhere so that hostile mobs do not accidentally spawn at night and suddenly cause damage, as you can thus lose unique merchants. They are truly unique since you certainly will not find such prices and goods in an ordinary village.

Let us now turn to the ship itself. It is a trading vessel randomly generated in aquatic biomes. That means it may appear somewhere in a lake or a large ocean. The structure itself is huge and long. Various chests, barrels, furnaces, blast furnaces, cauldrons, and many other elements are scattered throughout its deck. In most containers, you will be able to find valuable materials and various blocks, so you should check everything carefully. It is very easy to get distracted by such diversity: if you cannot remember everything, just delete the containers or put some item into them.

The dungeon will appear only once. If the player collects resources there, they will no longer be generated, and the barrels will remain empty. However, you will still be able to trade with the merchants on the ship. The designer of the Antique Trading Ship mod has thus created a cool add-on for Minecraft, thanks to which you can slightly expand the game's potential and add new traders. There will be dozens of such ships spawning all over the map, but it will still be quite difficult to find them. In creative mode, you can resort to the /locate structure antiquetradingship:antique_trading_ship command to quickly teleport to the ship.

Summing it up, we can conclude that the Antique Trading Ship mod is quite capable of diversifying the gameplay and in-game trade, even though it has very few downloads at the moment. Unique NPCs with a new list of goods, an eye-pleasing and elaborate ship, and a large number of free resources: the player can take advantage of all that just by installing one small add-on. It does not load the system and launcher, supports all the game versions, and is available for most of the Minecraft loaders!
