AndyCat's Flowers: A Wide Range of Flowers for Minecraft

The flower-related content in Minecraft is a sensitive issue for many players, as the choice of plants here is not large, even though the developers from Mojang try to add new species — especially given that that happens rarely. So if you would like to decorate your houses inside or make full-fledged virtual gardens, the vanilla version of Minecraft will not be enough. That is why you should consider using a mod called AndyCat's Flowers, which adds many different types of flowers to the game. They not only have growth stages but also can boast numerous varieties and shades. It is a whole floral collection in which everyone will find interesting options for themselves.

The AndyCat's Flowers mod adds eleven new flower species to the game. All of them are unique, have not been seen in Minecraft before, have different stages of growth, and grow in different biomes. Moreover, most of them can be processed into dyes, which is especially important for Minecraft with its range of different blocks of glass, stonebricks, and wool. We suggest that you read a detailed description of this mod, where we have tried to highlight the most important points and features thereof.

Overview of the AndyCat's Flowers Mod

After you install the add-on, eleven new flower species will appear in the game. But they are just species — the plants themselves can be low, medium, or tall, and this makes the game even more contentful. Take, for example, a flower called Black Cosmos. This species also has subspecies, such as Tall Black Cosmos. The same applies to Enchinacea. It can be an ordinary flower, but there are also Navy, Tall Blue, and other varieties, so you will get to a true floral paradise where you will be able to make a large number of compositions.

Moreover, the system allows you to color the vanilla flowers in 19 new shades added to the game — not to mention that you will also be able to color the flowers brought by the AndyCat's Flowers mod. Just imagine how many different options are available! Several hundred flowers, a large selection of sizes, various shades, and the possibility of creating dyes both of vanilla and new colors await you ahead. We have taken enough screenshots to show you how to color the flowers in the game: it will be enough to combine a flower and a die during crafting. The result will be a different shade. That works both for one flower and for a stack.

The AndyCat's Flowers mod divides the flowers into two categories: the Andycat's Flowers section contains the standard default options differentiated into species. But there is also a section called AndyCat's Dyed Flowers containing all kinds of variants resulting from using shades and other abovementioned features. Such an approach gives creative freedom to any player, allowing them to create full-fledged galleries, gardens, floral workshops, and crazy huge projects requiring thorough landscaping. At the moment, the mod has been downloaded about 15,000 times, being one of the best options in its category. Even so, the designer is constantly updating this add-on and making adjustments.

You can look for the flowers in different biomes, as they appear almost everywhere. However, some options can only grow in certain locations, unlike others that have flooded all possible territories in Minecraft. If you would like to collect as many flowers or seeds as possible, be sure to visit the flower forest biome. That can be done in the usual way by moving by boat, with the elytra, or by foot, or using the /locate biome minecraft:flower_forest command, provided you have access to the admin panel on a server or while playing solo.

The overview has come out short but informative. The Andycat's Flowers can boast a huge collection of flowers available to each player. You can plant them in pots and use extra decorative mods, which allows you to use hanging pots, different types of planters, holders, and hanging objects on windows or edges of buildings. The potential of Minecraft and its fan community are very broad, so everyone chooses which build to use and what to start their development path with. If you still have questions about the functioning of this mod or the new crafting recipes, feel free to leave your comments, and we will certainly help you solve any issues.
