Ager's Lushroom Biome: A New Biome With Mobs

How many biomes are there in the vanilla version of Minecraft? It is difficult to list all of them since their number has long exceeded dozens. Moreover, each location has its own specific features, generation principles, the distribution of ores and blocks, and mobs. Nevertheless, given such a rich choice of different add-ons, players want to expand the cubic world even more. So if you decide to slightly change the standard survival and add new biomes to Minecraft, be sure to try a mod called Ager's Lushroom Biome to be thoroughly discussed below.

Ager's Lushroom Biome adds a new and unique biome to Minecraft full of new mob types, different plant species, and dozens of mushroom-like structures, both small and large — and all this is included in one small mod. You will be pleasantly surprised by the appearance of many creatures, as that was the main idea of the designer. You have never seen that in the vanilla game version.

Review of the Ager's Lushroom Biome Mod

The new biome is just the bomb compared with the standard Minecraft locations. It can rightfully be considered exotic, given that it features numerous beautiful mushrooms, both large and small. The local trees are also completely dissimilar to what you are used to seeing in ordinary survival. Some of the blocks are different from the vanilla version. However, the biome itself is very attractive. But the most interesting thing about it is the diverse mobs. They further complement the Ager's Lushroom Biome mod, as each creature is a unique entity with specific characteristics, elaborate appearance, and salient features.

Note! Those who cannot find the new biome added by the Ager's Lushroom Biome mod can apply the /locate biome lushroom_biome:lushroom command to quickly see where it is. The developer has deliberately provided this function since the location does not generate often, and it will not be that easy to find the mushroom land among the huge number of different biomes in the vanilla version of Minecraft. However, let us proceed to the new mobs.

The rock critter is a creature that comes in three variants. It is a kind of mixture of a spider and a crab. However, it is hostile towards all entities and can be small, medium, and large. Each variant will differ in terms of health level, appearance, and movement animation.

If we consider each variant individually, we can distinguish the following significant features:

· The small rock critter is small and weak but very fast. Moreover, it often hides among blocks and grass, and the player cannot detect it.

· The medium rock critter is much bigger and stronger than the above one. They can break the torches that the players place to illuminate the area, thereby ensuring the conditions for further spawning.

· The large rock critter is the strongest among all. It will cause a lot of damage, can crush the player, and is simply difficult to kill.

The mushroom stalker is a tall sentient tree. It has arms and legs in the form of sticks, a kind of face, and traits peculiar to humanoids. It comes in two types:

· The standard stalker has a brown-mushroom color, is not tameable, and is hostile towards all mobs, including tamed ones, by default.

· The tameable stalker is a red-shaded humanoid that can be easily tamed using moss blocks.

These two mobs will fight each other if they happen to meet. So you should be careful — otherwise, you may lose the tamed creature. The designer of the Ager's Lushroom Biome mod has drawn the textures of each of them very skillfully and added cool animations.

The lapis dragonfly is a giant dragonfly that can be tamed using blue flowers or lapis lazuli. They are notable for their bluish shade and textures and look cool. After death, they drop lapis lazuli and sometimes even lapis lazuli blocks.

The emerald butterfly is a giant in-game insect that belongs to the category of passive mobs. If the player kills it with a sword or arrow, they will receive an emerald. With some chance, they can turn into a phantom or drop diamonds. However, it is both pointless and pity to kill them because they are very eye-pleasing and can boast iridescent textures.

These are all the mobs added to the Minecraft game world. Each creature is notable for its textures and some features, but even just finding the new biome and looking at its inhabitants is already a pleasure that means a lot. As we have already noted, if you wish, you will be able to tame some of the mobs — just keep in mind that there will always be hostile creatures ready to attack them at any moment. If you are going to test the Ager's Lushroom Biome add-on, you can use JEI to spawn any new mob from the list, as the designer has provided a spawn egg for each of them.
