Telepad – a new level of teleporters in Minecraft

The Telepad mod creates a whole new type of teleportation in the game Minecraft, allowing this to be played with gameplay as well, so that each user first crafts something and then can create portals. And if you miss that kind of functionality, it's definitely worth a try.

How the teleportation process works

Teleportation in the game Minecraft will be possible if the player creates so-called « telepaths» - devices that move you from one point to another. You can set an unlimited number of such points, and then choose which one to teleport to. And you can do TP both on the main world, and in the Lower World, which is very cool.

How to create a telepad

You first create a telepad using the crafting menu, using:

· 3 eye edges;

· 3 glass blocks;

· 2 iron blocks;

· 1 compass.

The location of crafting items for the telepath in Minecraft can be seen below the picture. Actually, once you've created it, you need to set it at a certain point. 

How to set up a telepad

After crafting an item, you have a telepad in your inventory and it can be stacked. To install it, you need:

· Select an installation point and point with the item in the active inventory slot;

· Press PCM to set the telepad;

· Type a name for the point (this name then appears in the common Control Panel for all telepaths).

WARNING! If you don't enter a name, the system will automatically set it according to the biome where the point is set. For example, if it is «Dark Forest» then the system will indicate this name in English, so that you can at least roughly understand where the point is located.

How to repaint a telepath in Minecraft

The default color of all dots (items) is set to a certain color (turquoise base and lilac arrows), but you can repaint any telepath if you wish. How? The process is very simple:

1. Approach the teleportation point (the telepath) and take the necessary dye in your hand;

2. Click the PCM on the edge of the set up structure. At that time, the base will automatically change to the color of your dye;

3. Click the PCM again, and the arrows will also be recolored. You can use different colors for the base and arrows.

If you want to flush (remove the changed colors) at a teleport point, just walk up to that construction and press the PCM with the bucket of water in the active slot, and then you will get back the spent dye and the telepath will change its color to the standard color.

How to teleport

Okay, we installed the telepads in Minecraft. But how to use it next? As soon as you come to any point and stand on it, an additional menu will appear, in which there will be a complete list of all teleportation points. You choose where you want to be teleported to. Just click on the item and you'll be there in a fraction of a second.

The names will be the ones you set up or the default (the name of the biome in which the telepad is set up).

Teleportation to the Underworld

The Telepad modification allows you to teleport to the Minecraft Underworld as well, but you will need to craft a separate item to do so; – «transmitter». It can be used to teleport back and forth.

How to craft a transmitter? You need:

· 6 iron ingots;

· 2 redstone;

· 1 diamond.

Install items as shown in the screenshot and you will get a Transmitter. Be aware, however, that you can only use one item to teleport to Hell in Minecraft, so choose your location carefully.

How do I teleport to the AD?

1. As in the normal world, you must go to the telepad and wait for the menu to appear;

2. In it, select Nether (AD) so that a list of points for that world appears;

3. From the list, find the teleporter you want and click on it to bring you to the spot you want to be in..

Warning! On a normal world, the green marker will highlight the portal with the teleporter, so you'll know where the location is that you can teleport from to hell. It's important to remember this so you don't get confused later.  

How do I delete a telepad?

You can break any teleport point with a simple pickaxe, hand, or any other item in the game. However, if there is no physical item, you will still have the teleporter point in your list and it can be used.

For example, you have for some reason creeper blew up the point or you deleted, but urgently need to implement TP in this location. What to do? Just walk up to any Telepad, and in the list you see the name Telepad with a black marker. It means that physically the port is removed, but you can still TP to it. Just click on the name, and you will see two tabs:

• Forget (forget the point);
• Teleport Anyway (teleport forced).

Even if you perform a TP on a remote location, you cannot go back using the same telepath.

How to block access to the telepad

The developers of the mod Telepad have added another unique feature for you – the ability to block access to a certain telepad. After all, in the game and other players will use this mod, right? And you can set the blocking, so that no one can use the selected points. To do this, you use a blocker (switch). Its crafting:

· 2 red repeaters;

· Redstone block;

· Three redstone dust.

Look at the screenshot to see in what order you need to place the elements to make a blocker.

You then place this item on the telepath and place a red torch next to it to power the circuit. In the menu, you will see the teleport point as a red marker. If you remove the red torch, the lock will be removed and other players will be able to use the teleport point.

Additional items in fashion

The last thing I want to mention – are two additional items that the developers have added to the Telepad mod to simplify gameplay.

· Ender Bead – this allows you to teleport yourself to a random telepad in the game, even if you have no other locations nearby. It's very handy to have such a thing to teleport at any moment, especially in a critical situation. See the crafting of this item below.

· Ender Bead Necklace (Ender Necklace) – this is the most important item in the game, allowing you to teleport you home to the nearest point. And the necklace can be used many times, but the item has its own safety margin.
