You can engage in various activities in Minecraft, from a regular and vulgar mining craft and up to fighting mobs, exploring locations, dungeons, and enchantment. You can continue indefinitely, but we’d like to take a closer look at animal breeding, taming different creatures, and searching for rare mobs. Almost any Minecraft player has a dog, a cat, or a fish, and if these versions are modified with different mods, the choice is even wider, since many developers create very high-quality mods with really cool functions.

But taking a pet or a creature with you is not an easy task. Simply bringing a cow or a sheep in the game requires a certain time- and effort-consuming algorithm and a lot of food. And what if the player needs to move an animal to thousands of blocks? In this case, you have to use portals in hell, but this technique doesn’t always work. Here, such mods as Pickable Pets come to your rescue, allowing you to transfer creatures in your inventory, that is, like a pocket dog.

Now, any player can take a dog, a wolf, and different types of animals and just put them in a «pocket», carrying them like regular items. At the same time, creatures don’t lose HP; they feel great and can be in the player’s inventory for a long time. This is a completely new mechanic for the Minecraft world, which opens up many new opportunities, and if you’ve never used such tools before, then it’s time to install the Pickable Pets mod and give it a try, since it’s available for both Forge, Fabric, and NeoForge.

Right now, the Pickable Pets add-on has a number of specific mechanics and functions that every player, who decides to install this mod to transfer animals in Minecraft, needs to know. Well, the list is as follows:

· You can pick animals up with a mouse button or a keyboard shortcut (the additional G key is used by default);

· You can’t put sleeping pets into the inventory;

· If a creature has just died, then you can’t resurrect it with a bug through Pickable Pets;

· If a pet is further than 40 blocks away from you, then you can’t put it into the inventory;

· Each pickup of a creature costs the player 2 levels;

· If a certain creature is blacklisted, you won’t be able to pick it up;

· You won’t be able to pick up cubs of different creatures by default, which causes certain problems when picking up little turtles, llamas, cows, and sheep;

· The game has a resurrecting altar that allows you to save your animals. For example, you can put it in the altar, and the pet won’t follow the player;

· To use your pet as a statue on the altar, you need to approach this item with a creature in your inventory, select it from the list of active slots and right-click on the altar. The animal will be transferred inside;

· If an animal is dying, you can right-click on the altar to resurrect it. Another unique mechanic of the Pickable Pets mod, which makes it possible to resurrect any game creature that the player has tamed.

By default, the Pickable Pets add-on makes it possible to transfer pocket animals that you can tame. For example, you won’t be able to carry ocelots or wolves, but if you tame them and they become «domestic», then you can use the mechanics of this add-on. However, the player can select which creatures of the Minecraft world are amenable to this mechanic in the Pickable Pets settings, since there is a really large list of settings so that each user can customize a specific list of animals for their project or single mode. You should also keep in mind that this add-on works with other mods, and if you have some third-party projects that add animals, you can easily transfer them in the game.

The Pickable Pets mod’s mechanics work correctly with all the add-ons that introduce different creatures to the Minecraft world. As soon as you put another creature in your inventory, no one will be able to damage it, but actually, you just get an item that doesn’t need any food, water, or HP replenishment. Which is as convenient as if the animal were just frozen and transported to another place like a statue. Such mechanics open up many new opportunities for players, for example:

· Transporting animals from one point to another over long distances;

· Selling creatures to other players and fast transportation;

· The opportunity to create your own types of statues with your favorite pet as a toy;

· Resurrecting any creature that died in the game with the altar. Another unique mechanic for all users.

As for now, Pickable Pets has been downloaded almost 300 thousand times, and this add-on is actively supported by the developer. If you want to get such functions in Minecraft, install the mod and use all the advantages. Remember that you have a blacklist by default, you can’t put many neutral creatures in your inventory. However, you can change it in the settings, create separate lists for both the vanilla version of the game and for all third-party mods in Minecraft that add new creatures to the cubic world.
