New Desert Biome with Multiple Functions

How do you see a desert in Minecraft? Endless expanses of sand, rare temples, treasure troves can spawn sometimes, and villages of civilians in the same style that encounter from time to time. That’s it, isn’t it? The desert biomes in the game are very poorly elaborate, but the developers haven’t updated them for a long time. It’s easier to download a mod for the game and totally change the appearance of the entire biome. So, add-ons like Pharaohs Legacy will help with this. Be prepared that the entire location will totally change, and a huge number of different dungeons and structures will be added.

The Pharaohs Legacy mod significantly reworks desert biomes and adds new ones. That is, you’ll see both the already familiar desert and a completely new part of the territory, where various items and structures will spawn: pyramids, Sphinx, various types of treasuries, village settlements, and much more. In total, more than 10 different locations are added, where the player can get additional loot and just enjoy the view. The Pharaohs Legacy mod offers redesigned content in the desert biome, which attracts from the first minutes of the game and totally changes the standard biomes in the vanilla game version.

This add-on will drastically change the standard desert biome in Minecraft, adding a huge number of new locations. Now it’s not just a sand structure, but a mixture of sand, large trees, different plants, and locations. Some types of plants can appear right on the blocks, and everything has significantly changed here compared to the vanilla version: forget about the endless beige expanses, consisting mainly of sand. From now on, you’ll see everything: height differences, treasure troves, huge trees, statues, sphinx with tombs, temples, pyramids, and so on. We’ve done our best to post as many screenshots with different structures for you as possible, but it is better to install the Pharaohs Legacy mod and try playing it than to study hundreds of screenshots.

The main goal of the Pharaohs Legacy is to change your understanding of deserts and add more content. Now, you can look into dozens of new structures in the one biome, where you will receive valuable loot. But you’ll have to behave carefully in most of these buildings, as there are traps and hidden passages; so, to take it all away, the player needs to be careful. The pyramids will get underground passages, as well as the sphinxes. The settlements in the very heart of the desert can delight with valuable loot in chests, although it seems that there is nothing there. It depends not only on the player’s luck, but also on his agility, attentiveness, and curiosity.

The new giant trees that appear in deserts is visible from almost anywhere, and these are new structures for this biome, as they didn’t exist in the vanilla game version. There are a lot of changes, and here are some of them:

· Discover a large number of new structures: tombs, treasuries, temples, pyramids, rural settlements, and so on, where you’ll get valuable loot and lots of adventures.;

· Ancient Guardians. Most locations will be protected by ancient guardians. After killing these mobs you’ll be able to get additional loot, which will make you incredibly wealthy;

· Authentic textures and interesting puzzles. This is another reason to download the Pharaohs Legacy add-on and see what the new biomes are capable of. You’ll have to solve puzzles, spend hours exploring underground passages, hidden locations, which is a very pleasant and interesting gameplay for Minecraft;

· Picturesque biomes. The desert has been significantly transformed, so it’s much more pleasant to be here. Now, there is less sand here, after digging which the territory became just empty.

If you can’t find any new dungeons from the Pharaohs Legacy add-on, just use the /locate command, for example, /locate structure mysticrift_pharaohs_legacy:sphinx will send you to the Sphinx. But it doesn’t look as beautiful as the rest of the structures (for example, dozens of Egyptian-themed maps have been created for Minecraft with really beautiful locations of this type). It’s only available in a creative mode, so you’ll need to open the map in the LAN network or get access to the admin panel right away. If you have already generated a world in Minecraft, you’ll need to rebuild it after installing Pharaohs Legacy, otherwise you won’t see any changes in the game!

There are many innovations here, and this is one of the few mods where the view of the location you play in will really change. As for the desert in Minecraft, these are very important changes. You will encounter different types of buildings, interact with new mobs, kill guardians, collect loot and just enjoy the new gameplay. Diversify the vanilla survival mode in Minecraft and revive the boring sandy biomes that the Mojang developers haven’t upgraded for a long time. The Pharaohs Legacy add-on is constantly being updated, so you can be sure that it will get new content soon.
