Most biomes in Minecraft have approximately the same shade of water, and to change their appearance, the player needs to install third-party shaders and configure them in detail, but not every user can do this. For example, some do not have the skills to work with such add-ons, while others are simply limited by their PC specifications, since shaders themselves are demanding mods for the game. And if you still want to change the water textures so that they differ everywhere, and so that all this variety really impresses every time you visit water biomes, we recommend paying attention to the modification for which we made a detailed review. The Natural Waters add-on will add bright, beautiful water that you have already seen before in the Bedrock version of the game. Moreover, each biome where water is present has its own specific shade and textures, and this looks as colorful and realistic as possible, which is exactly what the vanilla version lacks. Moreover, the changes will affect not only the standard world and biomes. If you have third-party modifications installed that add some locations to the game, they will also be affected by the changes as well (only the water). But visually, it turned out very beautiful. In this review, we attached more screenshots from different biomes to show you how much the water biomes will be transformed and what it looks like.

By default, in the PC version of the game on Java, you have standard water that practically does not differ from place to place. And wherever you go, it is approximately the same everywhere. You can diversify this with the help of such mods, although the functionality is not as extensive as one might want. Visually, it differs greatly from the vanilla variants of the game and replaces standard shaders, so practically any player can afford to install a small mod to diversify the water biomes in Minecraft. In the screenshots, you can see how some locations in the standard generated world will look. These can be oceans, rivers, lakes, small bodies of water, and everywhere the textures differ slightly from what you are used to seeing.

The main task of the mod is to transform all available locations with water so that they look like the game world you are used to seeing in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. And there are certain features here:

· Water looks different everywhere. Depending on the biome, you will see different textures, since all locations have different shades, and accordingly the water in them changes as well;

· The appearance of the water is tied to the biome. Since all locations have their own textures, the water here also differs as much as possible, but at the same time it is tied to the biome. For example, in swamps it is more greenish, in the desert it is murky, and in cold snowy biomes it is turquoise, and these are only some examples, because the game has a huge number of different locations;

· Support for other mods. If you have third-party mods installed in your modpack, the system will automatically support working with them and will also change the textures for those locations. This is very important for any player who uses other add-ons for their world. We recommend that you try playing with the Natural Waters add-on to understand how well thought out, yet simple, this mod is;

· Flexible customization. The developer added for you a flexible system for changing parameters for different types of biomes, where you will be able to change transparency, water color, fog, density, and other parameters that allow you to perfectly configure the textures of any biome;

· Minimal load. If we compare this mod with shaders, then the advantage is definitely on the side of this add-on, because the load on your PC is minimal, while players can still easily adjust the appearance for themselves or leave the default settings if everything suits them. In shaders, such functionality requires more performance from the PC and, accordingly, creates an additional load;

· Designed for all categories of users. Such a mod can be used not only by ordinary users. For example, you can install it on your project if you are a server developer or if you are creating a separate modpack. Also, creators of creative videos can use the add-on to make cool videos. Try it and do not stop there!

The modification fixes a significant problem in Minecraft — the monotony of water biomes, no matter where you are. Rivers, lakes, underground structures, oceans, and many other locations will be changed, and the water in them is truly much more colorful. As a result, every place is unique in its own way, no matter which part of the game world you are currently in. There is no need to install any bulky add-ons and overload your PC with unnecessary extensions. Here you have an extremely simple and balanced mod that allows you to fix the shortcomings of the game literally in just a couple of clicks. If you do not want to bother with settings once again, simply leave the default parameters and enjoy the appearance.
