Mist Biomes adds a new natural phenomenon to the Minecraft world in the form of sudden dense fog. The world will also feature 7 new biomes where this mysterious fog is constantly present. These biomes are copies of vanilla ones, but with extremely dense fog that greatly limits visibility and forces players to adapt to new conditions.

While traveling through the world, you may enter “Mysterious Biomes” with a new mysterious fog mechanic. Very little sunlight passes through the dense fog, which significantly slows down the growth of flowers in these biomes. Visibility is also reduced to 5 blocks. At night, far more hostile mobs begin to spawn here than in regular biomes. The dense fog strongly resembles the alpha version of Minecraft, creating a unique atmosphere of nostalgia.

· Cold Foggy Taiga.
· Foggy Mushroom Island.
· Foggy Plains.
· Foggy Desert.
· Foggy Swamp.
· Foggy Taiga.
· Foggy Forest.
All 7 biomes are identical to their vanilla counterparts, but with dense fog. If necessary, you can disable some or all mysterious biomes in the mod’s configuration settings.

For the fog to work correctly, you must install Mist Core in addition to Mist Biomes. For versions above 1.18.1, TerraBlender is also required. The mod smoothly integrates into vanilla Minecraft and is highly compatible with other modifications, making it an excellent choice for various modpacks.
