Review Medieval Buildings - New Structures!

Medieval Buildings

Would like to diversify the structures in the Minecraft game world and add something in the medieval style? If so, we suggest you install an add-on called Medieval Buildings, which will help you in this task. It is a new mod that has been released recently and is thus available for current game versions. For now, it cannot boast many structures, but the designer plans to add a huge amount of them so that the category of medieval-related mods becomes unimaginable without such a wonderful add-on. All the structures are made from the vanilla blocks, so the mod will not spoil the classic game style  but only diversify it. It features six structures, including even medieval settlements, which we are going to consider. The interiors are full of treasures, so you should necessarily explore them, as that will help you survive! Let us now turn to the structures added by this mod.

Tower

It is a separate medieval-style building generated in all the in-game biomes. Once inside, you will immediately see a chest with resources serving as a reward for looking for this tower. If you look closely, you can also see two barrels, which also have loot. Besides the chest, there are steps that lead to the very top. There, you will find another chest, but there is also a zombie spawner, so you will have to fight them to take resources. Regardless of the biome, the tower is made of spruce and stone.

Ship

The next structure is located on the water. You can find it off the seashores and sometimes even amidst the boundless ocean somewhere in the unknown. It consists of red blocks and looks very beautiful. At the very top, you can see a wool flag. In fact, you will find a lot of wool there, as the sails are made from these blocks. Accordingly, the ship can be disassembled, say, to make a bed. However, you can also live or just spend a night there hiding from hostile mobs, which will certainly be helpful at first. However, you will need to remove the skeleton spawner, so it is better not to go there without weapons and pickaxes. The ship hides several barrels and chests with resources. The latter are most often fish and coal to cook it in the open sea. Besides, there is one well-hidden secret chest there. If you manage to find it, you will get quite valuable loot, at times even a diamond or emerald.

Separate House

It is a house for several villagers generated in any biome. The structure consists of two buildings: the house itself and a kind of warehouse with several chests and hay bales. The chests contain resources: they store stocks of bread and wheat, along with hoes. You will be able to negotiate with the villagers, as they are standard. The house is quite cozy and spacious inside. There are many chests where residents store their resources.

Abandoned House

It is also a separate structure in the form of a house that used to be inhabited by villagers but later abandoned for some reason. It is completely overgrown with cobwebs, so you will have to clean it up a bit to get inside. It even has some furniture, namely a cauldron, a brewing stand, several barrels, and even a bed, so you can well spend the night there! The barrels contain resources, but most often, you will find only several iron ingots there.

New Rural Settlement

This settlement type is very different from the vanilla villages. It is much more interesting, and the medieval atmosphere reigns there. The settlement is not that large, and almost all its houses are interconnected to ensure better interaction between the villagers. The entire structure is fenced with stripped logs of different types, and that looks very beautiful. Near the main entrance, you can see the main food source of this village — the wheat fields. Amidst one of them, there is a mill. It is just a decoration and empty inside. Moreover, it has no entrance, so it is better to enter the settlement itself to more thoroughly examine it.

Inside, you will enjoy true harmony: it is cozy there. All the houses can boast a nice interior and have chests, but the latter can be empty. The village is quite densely populated, but you will certainly find a place if you decide to settle there. There are several stalls, a well, and much more.
