This mod complements Minecraft with new biomes with new trees. These include red and yellow maple trees, which slightly expand the ordinary vanilla map, as well as add new building boards and maple syrup.

Regardless of the color of the maple you cut, the wood texture will be the same – creamy white. You can use this wood to craft all of the vanilla boards and functional blocks, including signs and boats. Beyond that, you can also collect foliage from the trees and get seedlings from this foliage.

Maple can also bring you a bucket of maple syrup, which you can later pour into a bottle. However, this mechanic is currently under development, so you won’t be able to do it in the survival mode. Indeed, it’s pointless, because it’s still impossible to eat maple syrup or use it for crafting.
