A bed in Minecraft is used so that the player can restore their strength and skip the night if they do not want to wait while this time of day drags on for a long time. On servers, players usually try to skip the night, because during the day it is easier to explore different types of biomes and move around the game world. And in the vanilla version of the game, almost nothing has changed since the very first versions: you can craft standard beds, changing only the color of the wool used in crafting. But no other variants can be added. And if you want to change their appearance, you have to install separate texture packs or download add-ons to try something new!

The Leaf Beds mod adds unique types of beds to the game, crafted from leaves and wood. These are completely new items for the cubic world that perform their standard functions, but visually differ greatly from what you are used to seeing. You can use different types of leaves and wood, complementing any interior and style, and if you have to sleep outdoors, such a bed will perfectly fit the overall atmosphere. A bed made of leaves is something new for Minecraft, reminiscent of some kind of medieval or primitive world; however, the main highlight here lies in something completely different. By using such items, you gain a large number of advantages:

· No wool required. As soon as a player begins their survival journey in a vanilla world, they need to find wool to craft a bed in order to set a spawn point or skip the night, but this is often a problem, especially in unsuitable biomes;

· Does not take up an extra slot. You may not carry a bed with you at all, because its crafting is available in most locations of the game world: it is enough to chop 3 blocks of wood and 3 blocks of leaves to make the furniture;

· Quick spawn point. If you have just appeared in a certain biome and want to set a respawn point here, it will be enough to gather the necessary blocks in a forest and craft this item. A very simple and fast procedure that allows you to “save” and save a lot of time;

· Appearance. Despite their simplicity, these beds look very colorful, and they can have different shades and textures depending on the materials used. With such a set, you can create furniture items for almost any interior in a house or castle;

· Properties are preserved. It does not matter what you crafted the item from: the player will still be able to sleep on the bed, skip the night both in single-player mode and on a server, and set a spawn point;

· Use of azalea. Now another crafting option will appear in the game that allows the use of azalea (a rather rare but very beautiful type of block).

Player capabilities become many times broader with the use of such a simple mod. And if you lack variety and would like to change the standard furniture, you can start with the Leaf Beds add-on, giving yourself several bed options. In total, about a dozen new variants will be added, and you can see the crafting recipes for some of them in this material in the screenshots that we have attached. A maximally simple and cheap recipe at any stage of survival, opening up many possibilities, although at first glance it seems that there is nothing serious in this mod and beds are added only as an aesthetic decorative item.
