Every time you go down into a mine or try to scrape the chests or inventory out, you collect a huge amount of resources and items, and it’s extremely hard to manage the contents. Minecraft lacks any sorting system and the player has to literally manually flip stacks, lay it all out, move it from one chest to another, hang signs so as not to get confused. You can significantly simplify the entire process if you install the Inventory Profiles Next mod. It adds a unique sorting system to Minecraft, which will facilitate interaction with your inventory and storages.
The Inventory Profiles Next add-on will add several separate tabs to the game for interacting with repositories and hotkeys to manage the contents quickly, add stacks, transfer, sort, put from one repository to another, and so on. This is a versatile and multifunctional mod that any Minecraft player should have, whether you are in a single player mode or on a multiplayer server. You are welcome to read the full description of this add-on to understand what its main advantages are.
The Inventory Profiles Next mod adds a lot of sorting functions, however, you may ask how can there be many options here? But the developer of this add-on has invented a large number of different features for players, allowing them to quickly loot and transfer resources from different types of storage not only in the vanilla game version, but also in other add-ons that can add new types of chests, boxes, and barrels. In general, there are a number of features that determine whether it’s worth installing Inventory Profiles Next in your assembly or not:
· Helps to keep users’ inventory in order by simply pressing one key;
· Quick replacement of tools in the game, no matter what items you use in Minecraft;
· Quick drop of items from the chest in one click;
· Moving items to or from the chest as one action. Now you don’t have to click on each machine and do it manually;
· You can block certain slots so that items don’t move in them. This is very convenient if the user needs to order the blocks in a specific way;
· Quick configuration settings if you press the hotkeys R+C;
· Is installed on the client side, so you can use the Inventory Profiles Next mod on almost any server.
As you can see, there are many opportunities, and there are plenty of different parameters, which make it possible for users to flexibly configure the work of the Inventory Profiles Next mod. When installing the add-on, be sure to check which mods are missing, since it requires a lot of libraries and can’t operate correctly without them. Take a look at our screenshots to understand what the advantages of this sorter are. For example, if you put a chest with a lot of items in it, you can press the keys in the upper right corner of the inventory to sort it. There are several modes available here:
· Z – standard sorting of items by default;
· II – sorting by columns, that is, they are horizontally separated by free cells;
· = – sorting items by lines. All items are separated vertically by columns;
· Down btton – you can quickly move all the items and blocks from the chest by tapping on it. If a character clicks on this tab, its contents are moved to the chest.
As for the last point, there are still some important secrets and «features». For example, if you press ALT, you can choose which cells to exclude from moving. Just click on them and they turn red. If you automatically move things out of the chest, then the red cells won’t be filled up, which is very convenient. You can choose any slots you need. And the last important point is to flip things with the Shift key. In this case, everything is totally mixed.
The capabilities of the Inventory Profiles Next mod are extensive, and it’s one of the best tools for managing inventory and contents in Minecraft. The developer constantly updates it and adapts it to new game versions. At the time of writing this review, it was available for download for Minecraft version 1.20.4, both for Fabric and Forge. If you have problems starting the launcher, be sure to look in the error report which libraries are missing and install them. Without the required libraries, you won’t be able to start the Inventory Profiles Next mod.
So, it’s an interesting and short review, where we demonstrated and talked about the advantages and features of the Inventory Profiles Next mod. There are a lot of sorting-related options, and the add-on helps you interact with different types of storage quickly, not only in the vanilla version of Minecraft, but in any other mods as well.
