Many Minecraft moments are tied to civilians, and if a player needs to get a lot of certain resources or blocks, armor or tools, then in the game, they often turn to these NPCs. All you need to do is to find a village with residents, artificially «cure» them a few times, using zombies to infect them, and they’ll offer you very good discounts. Breed the civilians, give them working tools, and get the professions that you need. However, there is a problem here: the trade with civilians is limited to a certain number of cycles. For example, you can buy 5-10 products of one type from an armor maker, after which he will refuse to sell you anything from the same category. What should can you do in this case?
You can get yourself a few civilians of the same profession and thus solve this problem, but even 10-20 mobs, for example, toolmakers, won’t help you quickly collect dozens or hundreds of block stacks of a certain material. In this case, you can install the Infinite Trading add-on and fully remove the restriction on infinite trading. Indeed, this will slightly alter the vanilla survival style in Minecraft that you are used to, but this mod comes very handy in many cases and is even used in large projects.
By default, Minecraft supports the limited number of transactions with civilians. For example, you’ve conducted 5-10 similar transactions, and then you’ll be able to trade only other goods. Sometimes, the restriction is lifted after a few game days, sometimes, after a few minutes. This doesn’t allow you to exchange for large amounts, for example, when the player needs to buy a lot of polished granite or enchanted books. What can you do in this case? Install the Infinite Trading mod and forget about these problems. The add-on fully disables blocking of all the trading operations. You’ll be able to trade as much as your heart desires.
For example, you have 20 stacks of emeralds. You can infinitely stand exchanging them for resources and blocks until you run out of the valuable minerals. In the normal version, you would have spent several hours doing this due to limitations. Another feature of the Infinite Trading mod – it supports interaction with wandering traders. They also belong to the category of civilians but offer other goods and wander around the game world, so you can meet such an NPC in any biome. And after installing this add-on, you’ll be able to trade with wandering traders in unlimited quantities.
We also recommend «upgrade civilians» to get a decent discount. To do this, you should first use zombies to infect all NPCs and then cure them. Repeat this about 3-5 times and see at what price they will sell goods to you. In most cases, after such manipulations, you can buy different resources at 1 to 1 or even cheaper, although the default prices here are very high and aren’t particularly beneficial. And if you sumup the «discount» from civilians and the infinite trade, then you get an almost constant source of blocks and materials, both in single player mode and on any server. If you decide to install the Infinite Trading mod to your project, keep in mind that it will«shake» the server’s economy a little.
The mod settings contain several options, where you can disable or enable infinite trading, both for civilians and wandering traders. Sometimes, you can install events on the servers when the system will disable all restrictions for a while, and – first come, first served. Here, it’s up to you to decide how to use the advantages and opportunities of the Infinite Trading mod but be sure to add this mod to your collection. It has been downloaded more than 1.2 million times, supports all loader platforms (Forge, Fabric, Quit, NeoForge), and a version for Minecraft 1.20.4 was already available at the time of writing the review.
