From time to time, the player has to die in Minecraft, which is quite regular gameplay, since there are many hostile zombies around you, or you can fall into lava, fall from great heights, or run into treasuries guarded by a large number of mobs. And every time after the character dies, he finds himself with the full HP, which doesn’t need to be restored unless you receive damage. But you can take a more difficult path as shown by The Legend of Zelda project, where the player receives only a small amount of health and has to search for all other units, wandering around the game world. The Heart Container add-on uses almost the same mechanics.

Inspired by the project’s mechanics, the developer of the Heart Container mod decided to transfer a part of the universe from Zelda to Minecraft. To refill the hearts, you’ll need to collect containers around the game world. As a result, you start with three units, but the final maximum number can be up to 20, which is a very high indicator for the game, allowing you to fight different mobs more effectively and make the gameplay more joyful.

By default, a player appears on any map with 3 hearts, and any mob can kill him by giving him a few strikes. You won’t be able to change this amount until you find the «Heart Container». It can be hidden in any loot chests, for example, in treasuries, in a village of civilians, at robbers’ place, and other locations scattered around the cubic world. There’s little chance that this case will be dropped; however, as soon as you see the «container», immediately use it to increase the number of hearts for the maximum health level. The system automatically accepts all changes and saves them.

The main feature of the Heart Container mod is that the maximum HP is preserved forever. For example, you had 3 health units, and you found a container. Each of these items gives +1 to the maximum level. Thus, you’ll have 5 hearts. Even if the player dies, all his HP will remain unchanged, so you’ll always appear with 5 health hearts in the future. Over time, you can increase this amount to 20 units, which is a good indicator for your character. Just imagine how many zombies, creepers or other mobs you can kill before they defeat you.

Let us remind you that in the vanilla version of Minecraft, the player has 10 health units by default, and if you install the Heart Container mod, you can finally get twice as many. But it will be a hard and thorny path, where you’ll have to search for the containers all the time, although you can also complete standard tasks at the same time: extract ore and blocks in mines, build a house, visit different locations, biomes, dungeons, breed animals and crops. Open all the chests that you see in the game world along the way, and if you come across the «Heart Container», be sure to use it immediately. You’ll see a notification in the chat that you have +1 unit added to your health.

The Heart Container mod will be a tough challenge for many players on the server, and if you find this container, you can sell it for valuable resources, such as Netherite or diamonds. This is an additional incentive to maintain and develop the project’s economy. By the way, in creative mode you can get the container using JEI. It’s impossible to craft the item, so you have only two options: collecting the contents of the chests in different Minecraft locations or using the administrator mode. But the first option is more interesting, isn’t it? This is a true survival with elements of upgrading, which has a certain goal, and its achievement is fully justified.

Additionally, an unusual set of armor will be added to the game, which is very similar to the Robin Hood-style. It provides the player with a little protection, but at the same time, it’s impossible to craft. You can find this armor set along with containers in chests. It’s characterized by a green texture and pleasant look. Here you can also get brown glasses, although such customization elements can be rarely found in Minecraft mods.
