Tired of traveling long distances between your structures and would like to facilitate and quicken this process? If so, be sure to try a mod called Guns RPG - Waystone Addon! Thanks to it, you will be able to create full-blown waystones for teleportation. So your precious time will not be wasted anymore, and you will be able to effortlessly overcome the routes you have already traveled, even if they are 1000 or even more block-long.

This mod supports Minecraft 1.16.5 only and requires the Guns RPG add-on. It is quite well-optimized, and you will not experience any lags. For a more detailed description, refer to our review below.

Waystone

It is the sole block added by the mod with an extremely unusual but elaborate texture. This quite noteworthy device will greatly facilitate the gameplay and affect the overall game experience.

Externally, it resembles a huge lantern with gold inserts standing on a pillar of stone blocks. It is also notable for its practically consisting of two blocks. Thus, when you hover over its lower or upper part, they will be highlighted separately. Even so, when you break any of them, the block will collapse entirely.

Even though you will be able to create this block at any level, you will need level 30 to access its GUI. That is quite a moderate condition, which you will surely be able to satisfy in the middle stages of the game. To craft the waystone, you will need three stone blocks, a stone slab, two eyes of ender, and any crystal from Guns RPG. That can be accomplished by using a smithing table from the latter mod.

Waystone's Activation

After crafting the waystone, you will be able to place it somewhere. However, it requires a floor-like surface. Then, once you have successfully placed the block and reached level 30, you will be able to right-click on it. A special GUI will open, where you will need to activate it. After activation, a waystone becomes indestructible.

However, after you press the button, you will see a timer, indicating that you will have to pass a challenge. It comes down to the task of saving the block from various types of monsters. They will come from all sides within a radius of 25 blocks. This area will be delimited by white particles, and you will be prohibited to go beyond them — otherwise, you will fail, and will have to start anew.

Waystone's Functions

After activating a waystone, you will be able to see other similar activated blocks. Their owners can rename them and change the colors of the tabs, which is quite a useful function when there are many waystones in a world. To teleport, it will be enough just to select the desired destination. However, the teleportation is not free! It requires perk points from the Guns RPG mod. The cost will depend on the distance, which varies from 1 to 500. The distances over 500 blocks will still require 500 points only. That is quite an interesting and clever solution from the designer, which will be appreciated by many players!

Other Features

Besides teleportation, the block under consideration has other features. Thus, it will be impossible to destroy it after activation. It will still be indestructible even in creative mode! That means that after you place such a block once and activate it, you will not be able to break it in the future at all. So you should place them wisely.

Besides, the name and color of a waystone can be changed by its owner only — that is, it can be used by any player, but its parameters can be modified only by its creator. Summing it up, we can say that this block is an excellent solution for players who have a lot of perk points from Guns RPG and would like to facilitate their movement.
