In vanilla Minecraft, a player can craft a golden apple by placing an apple and 8 gold ingots on a crafting table. As for the enchanted variant, we’ve already mentioned that it cannot be crafted—it must be found in dungeons, primarily in treasure chests. With this mod installed, you will be able to create two new types of trees with apples, allowing you to grow golden and enchanted apples. This will reduce the demand for golden apples on servers since players will be able to craft them, but there will still be limitations for certain player categories.

To create a regular golden apple tree, you will need gold ingots and an oak sapling. This is the simplest and most accessible crafting recipe in the mod. You just need to place the items on a crafting table as shown in the screenshots, and you’ll get the desired item. However, if you want to create an enchanted golden apple tree that produces the enchanted variety of apples, you’ll need to invest a lot: elytra, a totem, a dragon potion, an End star, a sponge, a hammer, and three golden apples. That means crafting a single tree requires many artifacts from different dungeons, making this plant a luxury for only the most dedicated players.

Even if the Golden Apple Tree mod is installed on a Minecraft server, players will still need to explore different biomes, dungeons, and exchange items with each other. This system encourages exploration and activity. Once a player has gathered all the necessary ingredients, they can craft an enchanted golden apple tree. Both tree types in this mod can be grown quickly with bone meal. Just click on a sapling while holding bone meal, and the tree will grow instantly. Selling enchanted apples for 2 stacks of diamonds will no longer be viable, and their value will continue to decrease over time.
