From now on, incredible eucalyptus trees will now grow in savannahs. Their pale gray trunk and light green foliage will add bright colors to the landscape and make the biome more picturesque and vivid. But eucalyptus trees aren’t just a decoration; their wood provides you with new crafting opportunities.

You can use eucalyptus wood to craft all kinds of useful and decorative items: expanded gates, doors with glass inserts, hatches, signs, boats, and many more. All these items will be of a rich orange shade, which makes them a perfect decoration for safari-style buildings.

Exquisite awnings and rustic picket fences

Awnings are one of the most interesting novelties in the mod. These are a kind of sheds that allow you to create unique design solutions and decorate exteriors of your buildings. Thanks to the coloring system (done with the weaving table) and patterned textures, the awnings will become a really unique decor for your home or public buildings.

New wooden fences in a rustic farm style will look no less impressive. You can paint them any color and supplement with special miniature lanterns for lighting.

Filtering system for inventory

The authors of the mod also took care of more convenient management of the player’s inventory and supplies. For this purpose, they added a filter funnel - a device with 5 separate sections for quick sorting of the items you need when transporting them with regular loading funnels.

Walking with night vision goggles on

To explore savannah even at night, the mod offers special night vision goggles. For them to work, you need to insert echo shards into them as a kind of rechargeable batteries. You can craft the goggles using 5 shards laid out in the form of a boat.

Savannah life – giraffees and koalas

But the main new inhabitants of savannah are, of course, giraffes and koalas. These peaceful creatures give the biome a special charm and vitality.

Giraffes surprise with their various colors – they can be of various shades of brown – from light to rich red. Baby giraffes can be as high as adult animals, which makes them absolutely cute. Like other animals, giraffes are edible and can become a valuable source of ribs.

At the same time, koalas are presented in one “standard” gray and beige coloring, which, however, doesn’t make them any less cute. All koalas are friendly to the player and harmless.

You can breed giraffes by treating them to acacia leaves, and to breed koalas, you’ll need eucalyptus branches. Thus, you can manage populations of your new animals. You’ll see giraffes in savannas in groups of 2 to 3 animals, and koalas – in singles or in pairs.
