Forbidden Magic: New Interesting Items

A mod called Forbidden Magic adds the items and blocks necessary for such add-ons as Thaumcraft and Botania. It also brings various shards obtained by performing particular tasks and various other equally important items.

Wrath Shard

To get this shard, you need to kill a hostile mob in the Nether. It drops with a small chance: the more damage you have done, the higher the chance is. In total, there are nine shards in the Nether, most of which symbolize a particular mortal sin.

Envy Shard

This shard is dropped by zombified piglins that hold it in their hands.

Pride Shard

This shard appears when you defeat a Wither in the Nether. It can change its color.

Lust Shard

To get this shard, you need to kill any mod in the Nether with the riding crop. Otherwise, it will not drop.

Sloth Shard

To obtain this shard, it is necessary to kill a Nether mob indirectly, say, by letting it fall from a height.

Gluttony Shard

This shard is the easiest to obtain — it will be enough just to eat something.

Taint Shard

You will get this shard when you mine the taint with the Shovel of the Purifier. The latter can also instantly remove the taint if you click the RMB.

Axe of the Skulltaker

This axe is used as a weapon to kill mobs. It increases the chance of dropping and is not suitable for extracting wood.

Ring of Nutrition

This ring increases the richness of any eaten food three times. It is crafted in the arcane worktable from three gluttony shards and a diamond.

Riding Crop

It is used to whip up the tamed animals so that they move faster. Click the RMB when you ride an animal, and it will increase its speed. It is crafted from two sticks and leather.

Thaumic Cake

Unlike the ordinary cake, it can regenerate its pieces after a while. However, if it is completely eaten or broken, it will not restore. It is made in the infusion altar from two gluttony shards, two eggs, a bucket of milk, and a cake.

Collar of Pain

When taking damage from various mobs, you will accumulate the energy necessary for recharging certain items.

Infernal Rod

It can store 150 magic energy points and restores up to 20 of each aspect in the Overworld and up to 10 of each aspect in the Nether.

Chameleon Tools

Unlike the ordinary tools, these do not have a natural way to remove enchantments once they are fully enchanted. Each chameleon tool can have three different sets of enchantments, which can be switched by pressing Shift + RMB. As for the characteristics, they are identical to the ones of the diamond tools.

Wrath Cage

Using this cage, you can create spawners of any animals and hostile mobs. To do this, you need to craft the blank imprinting crystal. To take a soul of a mob, use the diabolist fork. After the soul is in the crystal, place the latter in the cage. But for mobs to start spawning, you need to ensure the supply of the liquid essentia.

Pickaxe of Distortion

It is used for the fast mining of solid blocks, such as obsidian. However, if you decide to break softer blocks, such as the stone, this will happen at the same speed as when you break them manually.

Tainted Rod

It is used as a means for storing the essentia. It can store 150 points of each energy type.

Livingwood Rod

You can craft it in the infusion altar. To charge it, throw it into the mana pool.

Caps

The mod adds seven different caps. To charge them, you need to charge them with mana, for example, in the mana pool. The manasteel cap will provide a 10% discount of energy points. All the other caps work similarly and are applied in exactly the same way.
