A few years ago, the Minecraft developers held a vote in which the “buttercup cow” participated, but this mob never made it into the next release, as it lost and gave way to other creatures. However, the fan community of the game remembers all the “possible” mobs that could have appeared in the game world, so third-party mods began to emerge, adding buttercup cows. And in this material we will tell you about a unique addon that brings more than 10 new types of “flower cows” into Minecraft, each with its own unique appearance and certain abilities.

The Flowers and Mooblooms modification was created with one goal – to add all sorts of variants of flower cows, among which will be the buttercup one. The developer decided to reveal all the cards at once and integrate a large number of animals into the game world. They appear in different biomes, but mostly in flower forests and plains. Players will also be able to use them to obtain milk and dyes, as well as flowers obtained by shearing them. An interesting mechanic that allows you to breed many more creatures in Minecraft and obtain additional dyes in another way if there are no flowers nearby.

In the vanilla version of the game, you can find only normal cows and mooshrooms. And if a player manages to find at least a mooshroom, that’s already a big victory, because they are quite rare in Minecraft. But now you will encounter such animals much more often. This mod adds a large number of cows to the game, with flowers growing on their backs. Yes, each animal will have different types of flowers, and you can collect them and use them as dyes or plant them at home in pots. In general, the game world now has another way to obtain various types of dyes and plants by breeding cows.

The Flowers and Mooblooms modification offers many new opportunities for players:

· 13 types of cows are added that belong to this category (each can be used to obtain plants);

· All creatures are thoroughly drawn, detailed, and have unique textures;

· Players can harvest flowers from each cow using shears (if you have third-party mods installed for this tool, they will most likely work correctly as well);

· New mobs spawn in flower forests and plains;

· To speed up flower growth on the backs of animals, you need to let them graze so they eat grass;

· Most of the plants you see here also spawn in normal Minecraft biomes.

New types of cows are not only a way to obtain certain flowers in the game world, but also additional options for farmers and new motivation. Just imagine how players will interact with each other, trying to obtain all cow types in order to have different dyes, unique animals, and engage in breeding. For multiplayer servers, such modifications are extremely important, so it is recommended to install them on your Minecraft project if you have active players and want to increase engagement.

If a player kills a cow, it will drop normal loot, just like in the vanilla version. The breeding mechanic is exactly the same: simply let the animals graze, feed them wheat to grow the population faster, and once they mate, a baby appears. If the animals have the same coloration, the baby will look the same. But if they have different textures, the chances are 50/50. Overall, all added cows look very appealing: each of them has bright colors, vivid textures, flowers on their backs. Unique animals that attract attention literally from the first minutes of the game!

In Creative Mode, players will have access to a summoning egg. It is a single (yellow) egg called Mooblooms Egg. It generates cows randomly, so even in this mode you don’t know which one will appear after using the egg. If you want to encounter cows in the normal world, it is recommended to go to a flower forest or plains, where these mobs spawn most frequently. You can collect plants from each of them using shears. In the vanilla version of Minecraft, you can also use an enchanted tool.

In the end, we can say that this mod greatly diversifies and complements the gameplay. Very bright, colorful animals, the ability to breed them, minimal impact on the server economy, yet the presence of such functionality on a Minecraft server will increase player interest and improve the economy, as players will trade with each other, exchange goods, breed animals, and so on. Villagers will get a separate profession — “florist,” who will sell flowers and seeds for emeralds. If you can’t find certain plants, just locate such an NPC in a village.
