To quickly obtain crops in Minecraft, players often use bone meal, which is obtained from skeleton bones. This is an important and valuable resource in the game world, although over time it accumulates in large quantities due to fully developed mob farms created by players. Even in a vanilla world, you can build unique mechanisms to obtain large amounts of bone meal. However, quantity does not always mean “quality.” And if you would like to get a large number of finished products from a single use, you can try playing with the add-on that we have reviewed in detail. Spending less effort on each crop and getting more resources—what could be better?

The Fertilization modification adds new types of bone meal to Minecraft, with which you can obtain more resources. They differ in appearance, properties, and crafting recipes. However, the resource itself is still crafted from regular bone meal. There will be several new types of bone meal, and each one has its own specific properties. In this article, we tried to cover all the features and important “highlights” of the mod so that you can immediately apply this mechanic in your farming activities. True farmers will definitely be satisfied with such a system, because it allows you to save a huge amount of time!

Several types of bone meal appear in the game, and each of them has its own specific properties. Accordingly, to obtain each type of this resource, you will need to use new crafting recipes in Minecraft. Compressed bone meal and extremely compressed bone meal will be added. They differ greatly from each other in terms of properties. Below, we describe the main features of each of them:
· To make compressed bone meal, you need to combine 4 units of regular bone meal in a crafting table or in the character’s inventory;
· Compressed bone meal allows the player to obtain up to 4 units of crops with a single click. That is, you will effectively collect 4 times more resources;
· Extremely compressed bone meal in Minecraft requires 9 units of the regular resource to create one item;
· Using extremely compressed bone meal, you can obtain 36 times more resources from a single farmland block. For example, previously you could click several times and collect 2 units of wheat, but now you will receive 72 units;
· Florist’s bone meal makes it possible to grow only flowers;

· If a player uses extremely compressed bone meal on saplings, they will have the opportunity to obtain additional types of large trees besides oak trees;
· If a player uses florist’s bone meal, they can obtain a huge number of flowers in a single use;
· If a player applies bone meal to vines, they grow downward. That is, in this way you can increase the length of the plant, but the growth goes downward;
· Both types of bone meal (extreme and extremely compressed) instantly seed the area with new seeds when used, and there are enough of them to completely cover the territory.

The new types of resources offer many unique mechanics; however, they all work according to a simple principle: you craft the required amount of a specific type of bone meal, then approach an agricultural crop or plant and click on it. You immediately receive a full harvest. Accordingly, the yield is multiplied exactly by the amount provided by the bone meal. For players in the vanilla version of Minecraft, this is a real opportunity to create small plantations while still obtaining a large number of resources, both regular wheat and any other crops.

With the Fertilization modification, players can literally obtain a large amount of resources in just a few clicks, while the system still works according to vanilla mechanics: bone meal can only be applied to a limited number of resources in the game world. For example, you cannot grow cacti or cocoa beans this way, although there are separate mods for Minecraft that allow this. This add-on saves your effort and time; however, the player will need to collect a lot of bone meal from farms in order to craft the new types of fertilizer. And they are truly very expensive. For example, to create one full stack of extremely compressed bone meal, you will need 9 stacks of regular bone meal. That’s a lot, right?

In the vanilla version of Minecraft, almost every user eventually accumulates a large amount of resources, so there should be no problems with crafting. Create different versions of bone meal, use them as intended, do not waste extra effort expanding farms in the game world, and automate crop harvesting so that the entire process is carried out without your participation. There are plenty of mechanisms designed for this purpose, using dispensers, hoppers, water channels, and much more. You can write in the comments which other mods for crops and farming you use in Minecraft.
