As soon as a player begins their path of progression on a server or in single-player mode in Minecraft, they need to find their first seeds in order to build at least a small plantation. Most of them can be found in small quantities in villager villages; however, such structures do not always appear in the game world at the start or even during the first hours of gameplay. That is why add-on developers try to create unique mods for the game to diversify the player’s familiar gameplay and add something new. In this article, we will tell you how to buy seeds from villagers!

The Farming for Blockheads mod adds a new unique vending machine to Minecraft, with which you can quickly purchase most seeds for further planting. This system allows you to stock up on the necessary plants right at the start, while not affecting game balance in any way, because emeralds are required for purchases, and they are not that easy to obtain in the game! However, this system involves villagers, and if you know how the entire trading mechanism works, it will not be difficult for you to obtain as many emeralds as possible in the future in order to buy and sell various goods from NPCs.

This mod adds a new block to the game, which is a vending machine. In it, you will be able to purchase most of the seeds from the vanilla version of the game. We have shown the crafting recipe in a separate screenshot. The recipe is inexpensive, so almost any player on the server can afford such an item. You place it in the location where you plan to trade and approach the machine to start the process. As soon as a player places the trading block, a villager automatically appears next to it, standing behind the counter. Moreover, it is not necessary to place it specifically in a village where these types of NPCs live. You can place it right inside your house.

At the moment, Farming for Blockheads has the following features and advantages:
· Installation of a trading terminal for seed exchange;
· The ability to finely configure the product list, including adding seeds taken from modded versions of Minecraft;
· Players have access to an unlimited number of items for purchase with which they can interact;
· Not only seeds are sold, but also various types of saplings, as well as bone meal;
· Emeralds are used as currency. The price ratio is approximately as follows: for one unit of seed, you give one emerald;
· The developer added support for large mods such as Pam's Harvestcraft, Simple Farming, and Biomes O' Plenty;
· An unlimited number of vending machines can be installed on the server, regardless of the biome in which such an object is placed.

For any player who has decided to survive in Minecraft, this modification will be an excellent helper, as it allows you to quickly find most seeds for growing plants. For example, you can buy wheat seeds, pumpkin seeds, and many other options here; however, you will not find sugar cane or nether wart. You will have to search for them in the game world. At the start, there is no point in interacting with this machine, because players practically have no emeralds. Accordingly, it will not be possible to buy seeds either. In this case, searching for a peaceful village will help, as you can find many valuable blocks and items in chests there.

However, for servers, the Farming for Blockheads modification is truly helpful, as it offers useful and very important functionality: now all players on the project can install this machine at any time and purchase the required number of seeds for further plantation development in the game. All you need to do is approach it, bring emeralds with you, and stock up to the fullest. By the way, villagers’ professions do not change, despite the fact that a villager appears next to the trading machine! According to the author, support for chicken nests for egg collection and feeders for automatic animal feeding will be added in the future (although such features can already be added using third-party mods).

Overall, this is a very useful and unusual mod where the player will have to interact with a new GUI interface and villagers. Install vending machines anywhere and buy the necessary seeds at any time. This is excellent functionality and assistance for Minecraft server owners who would like to simplify the player progression process on their project, but do not want to order custom plugins or mods. Everything is already present here, and at any time you can make changes to the list of available products so that they are offered for sale. At the time this review was written, this mod had over 85 million downloads, making it one of the most popular projects among all existing ones for Minecraft.
