One of these tools is Colored Bricks, which allows you to integrate more diverse blocks into the cubic world. If you want to expand the capabilities of the game, then it’s time to get to know its features.

The Colored Bricks add-on adds a large number of brick blocks of different colors to the game. That is, the player will be able to apply dyes to a brick to get completely different shades in the game. Such diversity opens up a huge number of possibilities for construction and architecture. Just imagine what masterpieces you can create using just one brick of different colors. The vanilla version of Minecraft offers no such options, so you have to resort to the fan community’s help, which keeps introducing something new…

The Colored Bricks mod is designed to change the standard approach to construction in Minecraft and give it a bit of «fresh air», although, for example, in the vanilla version you can use concrete, wool, and glass blocks of different colors. However, the players are already bored with thee options, and here the player always wants to try something new. The brick block is unique and beautiful in its own way, and it can really be often used in construction. So, if you aren’t satisfied with one option of brown brick blocks, then you can use the new mechanics added by this mod. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by high-quality and colorful textures of other brick blocks.

Bricks are an important element in Minecraft, for which the player has to collect clay in any water biome first, then burn it, and craft brick blocks, which they can later use to create any kind of buildings. This is a full-fledged gameplay for the player, which requires a lot of locations and user time. Accordingly, the interest in Colored Bricks is also due to the fact that each player will now have more crafting options. Unlike before when it was a brown brick only, now, you can easily make green, red, blue, white, and many other shades.

There are two ways to paint bricks:

1. Paint bricks. You paint bricks as early as at the stage of creating them by adding dye to the craft. This allows you to make the required number of stacks of the material at once;

2. Paint brick blocks. If the player has already created blocks, they can add the necessary dye to them and get a modified version. The same technique, which is similar in terms of resource expenditure.

Here, it’s up to you to decide which suits you best, but the developer of Colored Bricks has added both options so that you can chose. Moreover, bricks of different colors look very bright. If the player creates a store on the server selling such materials, it will be possible to add all the multicolored bricks to the frame to make it look colorful. By the way, the bricks look even more interesting: they retain the same texture with all the seams, but in different colors. The used shades are the same that are available for the dyes in the vanilla version of Minecraft!

But these aren’t all the features of the Colored Bricks mod. You can also create new types of ladders, half-blocks, fences, and even carved and cracked bricks; so, there are really a lot of options here. In total, the mod adds a few hundred new elements divided into groups. It’s up to you to choose which ones to use to create a full-fledged building or room and to decorate the interior of your building. For example, such designs are often used for stoves, pipes, chimneys, and ancient buildings, but in Minecraft you can improvise with every theme, right?

And if you still haven’t decided whether the Colored Bricks mod is worth installing or not, here are a few options for using this tool in your build:

· Constructing modern buildings. You don’t have to use white stone or snow to make a modern house. Bricks of different colors are pretty suitable as well. Black, red, green bricks – a whole world is open to you, where you can recreate any type of buildings, both huge villas and small similar-style houses and villages;

· Fantasy. Most of the Colored Bricks textures may be suitable for creating futuristic buildings in different styles, and it’s up to make up their exterior in the cubic world, because you can do almost anything here;

· Medieval era. As we’ve already said, you can build castles, forts, and huge villages in the medieval style, because bricks were also used at that time, and you can easily play around with it in Minecraft.

In this article, we’ve shown you only a part of the crafts, as there are a lot of them, depending on the type of brick blocks: ordinary, cracked, or carved. However, the crafting principle is almost the same: you use a crafting recipe that you already know and just add the necessary dye. There’s nothing new, so players won’t have to memorize a bunch of new recipes, although they’ll still have to look for dyes, as they’ll need almost all the shades from the vanilla game. To sum up, we can say that the Colored Bricks add-on is worth using by almost every fan of decor and new blocks, because the developer has added really high-quality and useful content for the game, which most users will surely like.
