In this article, we’ll tell you in detail about the advantages and features of this add-on, so that you understand whether Burrows is worth downloading into your build or you should avoid this mod!

The Burrows mod adds burrows throughout the Minecraft game world, which are available in a regular dimension, meaning you don’t need to move anywhere at all! But if you find such a burrow, you just need to click on it to find yourself in a completely different world. Indeed, there are certain rules here, the rules of moles, although this is not a standard theme for Minecraft. You’ll be able to get back to the ordinary world only if you meet certain conditions and complete important tasks. In general, the Burrows add-on adds interesting content and gameplay, and we recommend paying attention to this extension.

Burrows are randomly located throughout the game world. To enter a new dimension, you need to right-click on the burrow, and you’ll immediately find yourself in another world. Burrows

All the burrows are scattered throughout the game world, but there are not as many of them as you might think. Thoroughly inspect the earth biomes so as not to miss such a «structure». The burrow will be closed by default, and you need to break the burrow and right-click on it to be able to move to a new dimension. Sometimes, moles can come out of their burrows, but as soon as the player gets close to the creature, they immediately hide.

New items

· The emergency rope is the most important item in the Burrows mod, and it’s the only way you can return from the new dimension. As the developer himself says, this is your «ticket» to get out of the burrow, but the rope immediately breaks after use, so you can only use it once;

· Mole meat is another food option in Minecraft that you can get from moles. It offers about the same effects as regular grilled meat in the game;

· You need a moleskin to create a mole costume. It’s extracted from the same animals, but they drop it with a certain probability;

· A mole eye is a drop, also falling from moles. Used for crafting the costume;

· Mole paws are a relatively rare game item that gives you the constant acceleration effect if you keep wearing them;

· Coins are the internal currency in the Burrows mod, allowing you to buy additional items in the new dimension.

Armor

As you can see from the previous paragraph, in you can get moleskins, paws, and eyes the game, and some of these elements can be used to craft game armor. The standard mole costume is nothing special, and it’s mostly just a matter of aesthetics (there’s no such thing in the vanilla version, so it’s just interesting). But if the player has crafter a regular costume, then he can create an upgraded version in the future, which allows you to get the «Night Vision» effect.

New mobs

And the last thing you need to pay attention to is the new mobs in Burrows. They all live in the new dimension, so you’ll have to face and fight them:

· Moles are standard creatures – small mobs that you can find in almost any burrow. You mainly need them for their drops to get materials for crafting armor and the costume;

· Centipedes are frightening and dangerous mobs in the game that also roam the burrows. They move quickly and have poison;

· The King of Moles is the boss in Burrows – a fearless ruler who is pretty hard to kill in the game. By defeating it, you can definitely get its claw and use this artifact to craft armor in the game.

You can play simultaneously in both worlds: standard and Burrows. It depends on your gameplay. For example, burrows will spawn in the regular world, but you don’t have to go down them. If you are satisfied with the current situation, you can easily stay in the vanilla dimension, but as soon as you want «thrill and excitement», you can immediately find a burrow and head to a completely different world. There are many dangers, amazing blocks and structures here, and if you find yourself here, you can only get out using the rope, so be sure to think about it at the start!

The result is a fascinating and extremely unusual mod for Minecraft, which has its own style, elaborate gameplay, as well as interesting dungeons and structures. In general, the add-ons for such a narrow topic are quite rare in Minecraft, and most of them are similar to each other.
