Review Breeze Spawn

Spawning the Breeze Anywhere

In Minecraft, new types of mobs are constantly added when it comes to major game updates, and as soon as another large update is released, third-party mods appear to expand the functionality, since there are always aspects that do not fully satisfy players. In the latest updates of the game, a unique mob called the “breeze” was added, which spawns exclusively in new structures—Trial Chambers. However, getting there is not so easy, let alone spawning this creature. That is why additional mods for Minecraft have started to appear, allowing you to encounter this mob in other structures in the game. Such a system does not limit the player to just one dungeon, diversifying the overall gameplay of the vanilla version.

The Breeze Spawn modification adds a certain chance (10% by default) for a breeze to spawn instead of a blaze. That is, instead of the standard fire mobs in the Nether, breezes may appear, although the chance is not very high. However, these exact settings were chosen by the author in order to maintain players’ interest in exploring Trial Chambers, since this structure contains a huge number of valuable items, challenging obstacles, events, and mobs. The game should not make things too easy by encouraging players to completely avoid certain locations. Everything here is simple and clear: if you are lucky, you encounter a breeze in the Nether and obtain its loot.

In standard Minecraft gameplay, blazes spawn in Nether Fortresses, which consist of a large number of corridors, passages, and bridges. One structure may contain from one to three spawners with these mobs. As you can understand, a spawner generates creatures continuously, so the probability of encountering a breeze is also quite noticeable, despite the modest 10% chance. Since mobs spawn endlessly, you will be able to see many new creatures in the Nether, and all that remains for the player is to find a Nether Fortress, which itself takes a certain amount of time. We recommend using minimaps that help locate the required biomes, including for testing the Breeze Spawn functionality.

The breeze resembles a blaze, but it uses a different texture, a completely different color scheme, and a “whirlwind” circles around the mob. Overall, this creature looks interesting compared to all the others. Not every player has the opportunity to visit Trial Chambers, and if a user logs in after a new update or has not played Minecraft for a long time, exploring a new location and learning about it may take weeks. This is where the Breeze Spawn add-on comes to the rescue, allowing a small chance for breezes to spawn in places where blazes usually appear. With this information, you will understand that you need to explore the Nether more often in search of Nether Fortresses and their spawners.

One of the key features of Breeze Spawn is the ability to finely configure the mod, allowing the player to set the percentage chance for breeze spawns. By default, this value is 10%, but if desired, you can set it to 100%, in which case all blazes will be replaced by breezes. The Breeze Spawn add-on can be installed for both servers and single-player mode, however it is recommended to choose a low percentage in the settings in order to preserve the motivation to visit the new structure—Trial Chambers. There is a huge amount of valuable loot and interesting events there, so such locations should definitely not be ignored.

In the vanilla version of the game, each of you may eventually encounter both blazes and breezes, and here everything will depend on your luck. Some players may see the new mobs on their first attempt, despite such a small spawn chance. At the same time, you should understand that the breeze attacks in a completely different way, so you need to be prepared for such attacks in order to defend yourself and take minimal damage—otherwise, you may remain in this location forever (simply die). Today, the Breeze Spawn mod is one of the most popular mods related to breezes, and overall these creatures are in high demand among players.

Try playing with the Breeze Spawn modification and see how the standard Minecraft gameplay changes. In the comments, you can write how many spawn attempts it took for you to encounter a breeze and what you did afterward. If the mod is installed on Minecraft servers where players can purchase paid spawners and select blazes as the generated mob, the breeze population will increase sharply and their loot will lose value. Therefore, project owners are not recommended to allow their audience to assign blaze spawners. Set the standard spawn chance to 10%, and this will be more than enough for most players.
