A New Ancient Temple for Minecraft

What dungeons and locations do you visit in Minecraft most often? Despite the huge number of biomes, there are not that many dungeons to go to. Even though they are quite numerous, it would be nice to see more, considering how many different types of territories and locations are available in the game. So if the standard structures in Minecraft are not enough for you, you can add a mod called Ancient Enchantment Temple to your build, which brings a new dungeon in the form of an ancient temple to the game. There, you will be able to find unique loot and get your first enchanting table. After all, a new location for the vanilla game would not be redundant, right?

The Ancient Enchantment Temple mod adds one new structure to Minecraft. It is an ancient temple you will have to explore inside and out to find all the hidden chests. Even though it is not large, thanks to such mods, you can expand the game's potential and add new locations in a couple of clicks. These are not global add-ons where players have to spend hours delving into new functionality. Simple gameplay, a small dungeon, and several chests with valuable loot await you here. However, the temple itself is quite high quality and noteworthy. We have taken a large number of screenshots so that you can appreciate its appearance.

The ancient temple generates exclusively in the jungle in quite scarce quantities. Still, there may be several such structures in one biome, so you should be attentive. The temple is made of stone bricks and mossy blocks and is quite low. If you are going to explore the biome with the elytra by circling the entire area around, it is better to descend closer to the ground to discern all the available structures. Indeed, the temple can simply be hidden somewhere deep in the jungle among trees and vines since it is generated randomly, and you cannot predict exactly what the landscape and biome will look like in the game.

The ancient temple is notable for its appearance and small size. You will not have to wander through the catacombs and explore the premises and corridors. It is quite a simple structure for Minecraft with a reward for the player. Still, the structure itself is eye-pleasing and fits perfectly with the jungle style, as if it were designed by the developers from Mojang themselves. Next to this building, you will see several decorated pots. You will be able to climb this temple from any side to reach the enchanting table. If the player does not have such a device at the start of survival but needs it urgently, visiting such a dungeon will be the easiest way to obtain it.

There will be a small water zone around the ancient temple, as the designer of the Ancient Enchantment Temple mod has decided to add such a feature. In fact, there is a secret room there, which hides quite a valuable loot both for a beginner and a developed player. The screenshots show how to get there: it will be enough just to dig down or go down the water corridor. However, you will have to break a sign or the adjacent block — otherwise, you will not be able to get inside this pyramid. Such an interesting idea forces the player to explore the structure and think a little about how exactly to collect the treasure.

Inside this ancient temple, you will find a small premise that contains all the resources. A chest and several other items, including a mob's head, usually spawn there. So you will have another way to get heads in the game to collect or sell to other players on a server or in solo survival. The chest will contain diamonds, experience, iron, books, golden apples, lapis lazuli, and bottles o' enchanting. You will not find many diamonds there, but that is still a great way to quickly get at least some resources for further development at the start.

There will be only one chest in the structure added by the Ancient Enchantment Temple mod. If you cannot find it manually, you can type the /locate structure ancient_enchantment_temple:temple command to quickly teleport to it. As we have already noted, it generates exclusively in the jungle, so it makes no sense to look for it in other biomes. However, there can be several such temples scattered close to each other. The loot is hidden in approximately the same place, i.e., under the main building. If you wish, you can equip a room and even place an enchanting table there, as there are several bookshelves inside, which are necessary for applying enchantments.

If you have come across the ancient temple in Minecraft, be sure to add a mark so that you can return to this location later. It is recommended to take torches or other lighting sources with you at night, as there are many hostile mobs spawning there, which are difficult to spot among the dense foliage. That is perhaps all that could be said about the Ancient Enchantment Temple add-on.
