Would like to transform the game world so that it looks bright and realistic? Then we suggest you install an add-on called RTX Textures, which will help you in this task. If you do not worry about the performance level and just would like to enjoy realism, this resource pack will perfectly suit you. Indeed, this mod is very resource-demanding, as the texture resolution here is increased to 128x. The game world will be transformed beyond recognition, and almost nothing will remain of the vanilla environment. The only exception is the mobs, which have not been changed and retained the same textures. Perhaps the designer will release an update in which he will change the creatures as well so that they fit better with the game world. Let us consider the main changes you will see in the game world after installing this resource pack.

In-Game Sky

Not only the textures of blocks and objects have changed but also the in-game sky, which will perfectly fit with the new textures. Firstly, the clouds have been improved, which did not earlier look particularly good in the sky because of being square, unnatural, and completely impenetrable to light. They have now become more transparent, light, and not as square as before. However, unfortunately, the sky has remained almost empty, as the designer has not added more clouds to it. Even so, the sun has changed in it, and, of course, for the better. The sun has acquired a round shape, thanks to which it looks much more realistic. Besides, it has become brighter and slightly larger in size. In the night sky, only the moon has changed, which has acquired changes similar to those of the sun. That is, it has become round  and now shines a bit brighter. Besides, its color is now rather yellowish than white.

Dirt and Grass

Of course, the grass block could not do without changes, as the game world mainly consists of it. Thus, on its top, you will now see elaborate blades of grass, which look very realistic. On the side of the grass block, you will also notice realistic blades of grass. As for the bottom layer, you will see small clods of the earth of various shades there. The dirt block consists of the same clods.

The grass itself has also undergone changes and can now boast clearly distinguishable realistic small blades abundantly growing on the block. They are perfectly combined with the grass block in terms of color, so it is clear that the designer has thought through everything to the smallest detail. The tall grass has acquired the same texture, but its blades are higher and with noticeable ears at the ends.

Other Most Frequently Found Blocks

The sand is also among the basic blocks quite frequently found in the game world. Its color has become darker, and the block itself has acquired a smooth texture, so you will not see large square particles in its composition anymore. The stone has retained the same color, but the block has acquired an excellent detail level. You will see a smooth texture with a few cracks on it.

An unusual feature of the mod allows blocks of different kinds to stick together. Thus, when you connect two heterogeneous blocks, the particles on their sides merge so that the particles of one block are transferred to another. Take, for example, the grass and sand blocks. When you connect them, the sand particles partly cover the sides of the grass block, and a beautiful layer is thus formed. Accordingly, when you connect the grass and stone blocks, you will see some blades of grass on the stone. You can do that not only with the stone, sand, and grass blocks but also with other block types.

Vegetation

Finally, let us touch upon the in-game trees, which have become as close to reality as possible. Instead of the familiar foliage blocks, you will now see beautiful and lush twigs with individual leaves. The foliage blocks have no planes that make them square anymore, so they look much more realistic. All such blocks have been affected by the changes, so you can safely enjoy them. However, not only the foliage has changed but also the logs. They have also acquired realistic textures and a high detail level.
