Better Dogs is an interesting add-on for the game, which at least slightly diversifies the textures in the interactive world. Thus, you might have noticed that the texture of a tamed dog does not differ in any way from a wolf — only the lead is added. Perhaps many users are dissatisfied with that and would like to make some changes in this regard. The texture pack under consideration will help you in this task. Thanks to it, you will be able to diversify the appearance of the tamed dogs. In total, it adds six new unique textures. Each texture expresses something; that is, the color of a dog will depend on the breed. Moreover, it is impossible to predict which texture you will see, as they generate randomly. But that is not all. Each breed will have two types of coloring. That is, you can now see as many as 12 types of dog coloring in the game world, which makes the in-game fauna much more diverse and interesting. You can install the Better Dogs texture pack on all the current game versions, including 1.16–1.18, and even on the recent one, namely 1.19.

However, dogs are not the only change brought by this add-on. You can also notice changes in the ordinary untamed wolves. These mobs now feature various colors. You will easily recognize the white wolf, but it will be slightly reworked. Its fur has become much more fluffy, and there are changes in minor details, such as the eyes. You will now be able to meet a dark gray variant thereof with orange eyes. If you walk through a forest at night, you may be seriously scared because you may now meet a black wolf, which looks intimidating, especially at night, when you will only see its slightly glowing eyes. There is also another variant of the wolf's coloring, namely a brown shade. It seems that these are all kinds of wolves that you can meet in the game world. This feature has been implemented quite recently, as this texture pack previously implied only changes in the dogs.

After you tame these wolves, you will get dogs that have also changed in terms of textures. As was already noted, you will be able to meet as many as 12 variants of dogs in the game world, namely 6 breeds with 2 types of coloring each. This will seriously diversify the in-game fauna with the animals that have at least some difference from each other. So, it is a very nice add-on to the game, which is worth testing in your world.
