Textures Affected by Better Farm Animals

The textures of the following four passive mobs will change: the cow, pig, chicken, and sheep. You will see a great variety of their textures, as one creature now has several types of textures found all over the world. This slightly diversifies the game environment. As we have already noted, the textures are made in the standard resolution, but the mobs have acquired extra particles that give them a more beautiful and realistic look.

Chicken

These creatures have perhaps the largest variety of textures — you can see more than ten new variants thereof. Moreover, the textures will differ not only in terms of color but also of other details. The chickens now have two sexes. Moreover, the little chickens can now be of two colors: yellow and brown. After they grow up, their texture will change. Of course, the vanilla white chicken has not gone away — the designer has just added a few details to it and slightly changed its color. Among the new models, you can see the black chicken, spotted one, and many other variants.

Pig

These animals could not do without changing textures and slight variegation. There have also acquired more 3D elements. Thus, the pig's ears are now a separate model and not just a texture on the head as before. Besides, these mobs may seem a little larger to you, and not without reason. The pig now has two basic textures: one is pink, and the other is a light pink shade. You can also meet pigs with spots of dirt on their bodies.

Sheep

The sheep's fleece is now not as light as before, regardless of the color itself. The sheep have three basic body colors: white, black, and brown. Besides, they may have different horns, and some sheep may not have them at all. So a sheep does not look as ridiculous during the shearing as it used to.

Cow

The cows have, of course, also acquired new textures. This mob is now found in the game world in four different variants. The first cow is completely dark and quite smooth. The old spotted cow has also remained but undergone some changes. The white spots on it are now not as bright as before. There is also another kind of spotted cow: its spots are a dark burgundy shade. There is also a light brown cow without any spots.
