Alvoria’s Sanity is a rather interesting resource pack, the main goal of which is to diversify the appearance of all blocks, items, and creatures. Despite the low resolution, which is equal to 16, all textures will have a unique look. The texture pack is compatible with versions 1.7.10, 1.8, etc.

The first change you will see when you start playing relates to the title screen. The background has another landscape. There is a jungle forest, which looks a little blurred. The name of the game, or rather its font and color, will also change. It will become light brown and its underlay will resemble the color of the stone. What’s more, there are gems in the side parts. Speaking more precisely, there is a scattering of diamond particles. The menu buttons will also look different. Their color is the same as the name of the game. By the way, when you hover over a particular button, it will slightly light up.

The interface of your inventory will change. Those places that have no purpose will become transparent. Thanks to this upgrade, you will see the world while in your inventory. The slots get new textures that resemble the skin of some animal. The picture in the background of your character depicts a landscape. In general, the inventory looks light brown. Besides, there is a tweaked health bar in the form of red bottles, while the saturation indicator takes the form of yellow bottles filled with energy.

In general, the world becomes much brighter and more colorful. If you look at the sky, you will see that there are no white square clouds on it. Now the sky is blue. If you look at the sun, you will surely notice that it is much brighter and even bigger. But the most important thing that makes the sun look realistic is its round shape. The shape of the moon will also change, while its dimensions will remain the same. If you look closer at the moon, it will seem to you that it has eyes and a nose as if it is someone’s face.

The grass block has a more realistic texture. It has different grass particles, both green and slightly yellowish. If you look at the grass block from the side, you will see that the texture pack changes it by covering it completely with grass. Perhaps you remember that the vanilla grass block is covered with grass only on its top. This tweak will make hills look greener. Besides, the tall grass becomes shorter and darker than before.

Some flowers have new textures. For example, the dandelion looks like a small shrub. Its petals are fluffy and there are many small yellow flowers on one plant. A similar change occurs with the poppy. It looks bigger and its leaves become yellowish. And there are several small red flowers on one poppy. The rest of the flowers will slightly change their colors. One flower may have several shades at once, for example, this applies to orange tulips.

The textures of hostile creatures will change. Zombies are no longer green. They are gray. When you look at the zombie, you may not even understand that it is hostile since it has a cute face. But when you see its body covered in blood, you will understand who’s standing in front of you. The skeleton has the same structure but a different color. It becomes some kind of brown to suit the color of its bow. The creeper looks scary. Its body has more dark particles. And sometimes you can even see its bones colored red, for example, its spine. Its eyes turn red, which makes this creature look ominous. The spider’s eyes are bright red. Besides, there are two large eyes on its forehead with 4 small ones below. Some parts of the spider also turn red.

Friendly creatures also get new textures. The cow becomes darker. Its spots are no longer particularly visible. It is hard to see the cow’s face in detail since its color merges with the textures of the eyes. The sheep’s wool becomes grayer and does not have the former smooth appearance. And its face looks very similar to the face of a vanilla skeleton. The pig will lose its previous pink color and will become light brown with white particles on the underside. If you look at its face, you will manage to see its eyes and snout in detail. By the way, the snout is dark brown.
