So, the Zinkenite Mobs texture pack was created especially for that category of players who want to change appearance of Minecraft mobs only. It adds new models of creatures. At the same time, it preserves vanilla style of the game; all blocks and items will have their habitual style. Almost all mobs in the game have been optimized and new models added. OptiFine is supported, and the author recommends installing this mod for correct display. Moreover, on mighty computers you can also install shaders to transform the image.

Animals for the farm

This category includes all standard animals that can be used for breeding on farms, for example, chicken, cows, sheep, and pigs . This is a standard set of mobs for Minecraft, that brings players a lot of food, wool, leather, feathers – almost all the items that a player needs at the start to survive (to make arrows, armor, and food). And the author has changed appearance of these animals in a cool, unusual, and high-quality manner.

It looks like all the animals resemble the vanilla style of Minecraft, but at the same time each of them has its own unique peculiarities: color, different specimen versions, modified appearance of the body, head, tail, ears, and other important stuff. We missed it in the standard version of the game, because some models always seemed too «simple», «clumsy» by default. But here the developer has corrected all these drawbacks and updated every mob.

Just look at what the babies of all these animals. look like. They look cool, don’t they? Now you’ll be more motivated to find sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens and engage in farming, build large farms, automate them, and get a lot of resources. And if you play on a server, you can later sell all the excess resources, getting other important items or blocks in return.

Spiders and creepers

Now, let’s have a look at less friendly, but also quite familiar mobs in Minecraft: spiders and creepers. The creepers have got an unusual detail: now, a dynamite charge is visible right in the mob’s body, which tells you about additional danger. And if you’re used to seeing it in standard light green, this change will be a little unusual. The developer has also updated his legs, added a few new animations. So, in general it can be said that the creepers in Minecraft have been significantly transformed.

As for spiders, there’re not so many changes here: the muzzle has changed a bit, but in fact that’s all. The changes applied to both ordinary spiders and cave ones, which differ in color only. Of course, in terms of gameplay they also differ in types of attacks, inflicted damage, and imposed effects, but this is a completely different story inherent to vanilla Minecraft. They look interesting, bright, and more contrasted.

Skeletons and Endermen

Compared to the vanilla game version, the skeletons haven’t changed so much, although their look has changed. More details have been added; now, you can see the mob even better, and they will differ in different biomes, for example, shades of green may appear on their body in the jungle, and ordinary skeletons don’t have such details.

As for Endermen – the Zinkenite Mobs texture pack developer has surpassed all other creatures here. They have been strongly updated. These mobs have become many times higher than the standard ones. Their eyes are about the same but emit more light. Mainly on the lower part (legs) are highlighted, where you can see a gradient of colors, which goes from purple to light purple and then to white. An interesting but highly unusual solution for this creature.

The same shape also applies to Enderman’s hands. Here’s also a smooth transition from purple to white with different gradients. It’s unusual to see it in the game after playing the vanilla version of Minecraft, but that’s the developer’s idea, and it looks not bad.

Dogs (wolves)

You’ll see the main changes for the wolves after you try to tame them and turn into an ordinary dog. Wolves’ appearance differs in terms of color scheme. If compared to the vanilla version of Minecraft, you’ll have more different colors to choose from, but they are generated randomly. If you take two specimens of the same color, they will give birth to a similar baby. And if you try to test the texture pack in the administrator mode, just take the summoning egg and see what options this pack offers.

However, dogs differ in both appearance and various colors. Here, the author added more different details that are common to such animals. For example, some species have a few different colors, others seem to have more hair. In the game, this rule applies to both small and large specimens. As a result, we can say that dogs look more interesting than in the vanilla version of the game. Generally speaking, thanks to the Zinkenite Mobs texture pack all animals look more colorful here.

If you want to modify the creatures in Minecraft, we recommend installing this texture pack, since the developer has done tremendous work to get the desired result. All animals are as close to the vanilla style as possible, and if you didn’t like certain options in the game, you’ll definitely like them in this pack.

Unfortunately, not all Minecraft mobs have been replaced yet, but only about a dozen of them. We haven’t yet told you about withers, witches, efreets, and other mobs, but the author keeps working on this mod, releasing new versions for players. Be sure to try it, because this pack can be combined with other textures, such as Faithful, which mainly changes clearness for blocks and items without affecting animals.
