Woodcraft is a rather interesting resource pack, which is made in the medieval style. In addition, the resource pack has some Asian details. Thanks to its high resolution of 128, the textures will look very detailed, bright, and beautiful.

The first upgrade you will see when you start the game is, of course, related to the main menu. The background and other menu elements look the same, only the menu buttons change. If you look closely, you will see that their frames consist of small pieces of bamboo and they are gray in the middle.

The inventory interface will change. The inventory frames consist of small light-colored pieces of bamboo, the same ones that are on the main menu. In the background of the inventory, there is a building created in the Asian style. In general, the image is dominated by shades of gray and there is some kind of mountain at the bottom. The health bar looks slightly different. In general, its shape remains the same, only the color of these hearts changes. They become a little brighter. Besides, when your health is taken away, it will not go out but only darken. The saturation bar will consist of green apples. When you are not hungry, these apples will be gray. The experience bar will progress with a blue line.

There are no clouds that could spoil the beautiful sky. The sun will change and become very realistic. If you look at the sun, you will see that it is much brighter and its color matches the real-life sun. Compared to the vanilla sun, this one is slightly larger. What’s more, the sun becomes round, which looks highly realistic. The night sky will also change. The stars will get larger. The moon will change in the same way as the sun. Thus, it will become round, bright, and slightly larger. However, its detail leaves much to be desired.

The grass block looks much brighter than its vanilla counterpart. Numerous separated particles on the top layer resemble the distribution of grass blades. On the side, the grass block consists of a small even layer of grass followed by very light dirt. The tall grass looks highly realistic and has very beautiful grass blades. These blades become brighter and are directed in different directions as if the wind is shaking them. The double tall grass becomes much smaller and completely matches the texture of tall grass. Thus, they only differ in size.

The sand block will be colored orange and look a bit darker. If you look closely at the sand block, you will see small wavy lines of sand distribution in the middle of each side. The cactus will become a little darker, only some of its lines have a lighter shade. The cactus spines become less noticeable. They get smaller but their number increases. In general, they are colored blue. The water is colored bright blue and is not very transparent. If you look closely, you will see small waves on the upper layer of water, but that’s barely noticeable.

Flowers get new textures and look very beautiful and highly realistic. In general, the poppy and the dandelion will be very similar to each other – their sizes and stem structures will be identical. These flowers have a very small and thin stem, on which there are no green petals at all. The flower itself looks very bright and lush. In the poppy, the petals are directed upwards. In the dandelion, they are located in a circle. The blue cornflower looks like a small sapling. Instead of its green stem, you will see a brown stem as if it is a tree. The flower itself will also look like a tree. If you look closely, you will even see small branches with white flowers on them.

Each type of tulip has its own flower shape and stem. In red and white tulips, green petals are located at the bottom of the stem, and in white, they are on top. In general, the flower of a white tulip is very small compared to other tulips. On a red tulip, you can find two flowers at once since it has two stems. The pink tulip has a very bright shade. Besides, only the pink tulip has a fully open flower, while others are not yet open. The onion has a few dark green petals on its stem, so it won’t look as empty as before. The onion flower has a different color. It is a little darker, but in general, the shape of the flower remains the same, i.e. round. The blue orchid has a different color structure. There are several green petals in its lower part and some very bright white and blue flowers on top. The tall flowers will also change. This especially concerns the rose bush, while the rest of the tall flowers do not change much. In peonies, the flowers will become lighter and slightly larger. The rose bush looks like a small tree. In its lower part, you can find a small brown stem with roses. Although they are smaller, there are much more of them on the stem.

Trees will be redesigned for the better to look more detailed and realistic. In general, the birch leaf block becomes brighter, is completely opaque, and all particles are interconnected. If you look closely, you will see that the leaf block is covered with small petals, which are interconnected so that there is no transparency. The birch wood looks slightly gray. Besides, there are more black lines on the birch, but their sizes are slightly reduced. Birch leaves and oak leaves are of the same color and shape. Compared to its vanilla counterpart, the spruce wood becomes lighter and has a slightly gray shade. The needle block, as well as other leaf blocks, loses its transparency and consists of highly realistic green needles.

The images on paintings will change and become more detailed. Unlike the vanilla version, you can see every detail in these images. In general, the images have some Asian elements and all the paintings are related to this theme. There is a one-block painting depicting a portrait of a famous Asian person. In another painting, there is also a portrait of an Asian. What’s more, there is a painting with dark frames and white background, against which you can see the Asian symbol depicting a black and red fish. There is also a horizontal two-block painting that does not look like a painting at all since it lacks frames and other elements characteristic of paintings. It depicts three katanas. There is a vertical painting of the same size that depicts a masked man with red eyes and a red sword in his hands. The large painting depicts an Asian room. In the middle, there is a table with a person sitting near it.

The chest is colored burgundy and has silver patterns all over its sides. These patterns look very nice against the burgundy background. The chest has an upgraded interface with bamboo frames around its edges. The slots are very dark. The furnace is made up of small stone bricks that do not look quite even but form a very nice block. The upper part of the furnace block consists of a beautiful stone frame, on which you can see various patterns. The furnace has a different interface depicting an Asian city. The workbench becomes a little darker and consists of smooth planks arranged horizontally. Only the edges of the block have a vertical structure. On the sides of the workbench, you can find carpenter’s tools such as a hammer and others.

The texture of the glass also changes. Thus, the glass has no more distortions that prevent light from entering your building. What’s more, the glass has dark blue frames along its edges. When connected to an adjacent block of glass, these frames will not disappear but become a little thicker. The colored glass has the same upgrades as regular glass. This implies the same red frames and no distortion inside. The glass panels have the same changes.

Valuable blocks will get new textures and look really nice. The emerald and diamond blocks will have a similar structure. Along the edges of these blocks, there are iron frames that are connected with bolts. The lapis lazuli also has similar frames. The diamond and emerald blocks will seem to sparkle. However, these blocks look very nice. There are some light particles inside the lapis lazuli block. The gold and iron block do not have such frames, but the iron block uses the same bolts in its structure. The iron and gold blocks have a very smooth texture that will look light in the middle.

The textures of all items will change. They will look very beautiful and realistic. The shape of the bucket will be improved to make an impression of a real-life bucket. In the upper part of the bucket, there will be lines pressed into the bucket. The stick will get lighter and look a lot like bamboo. The gunpowder will resemble a small dark gray pile of dust. The diamond and emerald will become very realistic. Their shapes will change: the diamond looks like some kind of sparkling diamond, while the emerald has the shape of a rectangle and its color is a bit dark.

The textures of all creatures, both friendly and hostile, no longer look the same. Cows are colored brown with white spots in some areas. These spots are also located in the upper part of the cow’s head. The cow’s legs are dark grey. The sheep wool becomes darker in some places. This is done to give it a curly structure. Besides, the sheep has a very detailed face, thanks to which you can see its parts. And its legs look darker. The pig has almost the same color but is slightly lighter. It has a small tail on its back and a snout, eyes, and ears on its head. The chicken has the same white color, but its legs become darker and there are red particles on its head.

The skeleton bones are less transparent and better interconnected. The color of these bones becomes darker than before. As for the skeleton, it has bright red eyes, which makes it look creepier. What’s more, the zombie has an Asian-like face. Its clothes aren’t as torn and untidy as they used to be. Its T-shirt looks blue and is slightly bloodstained. Also, zombies have blood on their hands and legs. The creeper also has a very frightening appearance. Its color slightly changes and it becomes darker, but due to the white particles on it, this can be barely noticed. The creeper’s face looks frightening. The spider has almost the same color. However, its eyes become dark, which can scare you.
