The textures of nature and the surrounding world of Minecraft have always had a style similar to the real world: trees, plants, grass, mines, and other things in the game look like in real life, but Nether world exists in the game only, which changes surrounding atmosphere in comparison to the usual dimension. But have you ever thought that these two game dimensions can also change their textures? If so, then you should try the Reverse World texture pack, which changes the familiar nature to a red, hellish look.

So, this pack changes the textures of 2 dimensions: the Overworld and the Nether, swapping them. Believe me, it looks uncommon and very unusual: to see red and gray textures instead of the familiar green nature, while dealing with the usual Minecraft textures. For example, the tree textures will be changed to crimson or distorted Nether tree textures, as well as separate leaves, stems, shoots, vines, tree trunks, and so will, accordingly, consequent items, such as: steps, doors, hatches, and so on.

Let’s move on to the changes introduced. You’ll see the first changes on the loading screen, namely: the background with the Mojang logo has been changed from solid red to black. The background has got a very specific style, with only the color replaced. This is the only change in the main menu interface and in the game itself. But when going to the server, you’ll literally see “hellishly” beautiful surrounding world.

As we’ve already said, trees change to crimson or distorted textures of the Nether world, depending on the biome. The grass and ground textures change according to the same principle, getting the Nether texture. At the same time, if the grass gets a crimson or distorted texture, then in a biome such as the Cherry biome, the grass texture isn’t affected, that is, it retains its green shade. By changing only a couple of textures, the mod changes the whole appearance of the entire Overworld and Nether. The textures of stone, cobblestone, diorite, granite, and other types of it have also been changed to match the Nether.

A good contrast between ordinary sand and the Soul Sand, which has also been swapped. The cacti have been modified to match a bright fire and flame texture, also emphasizing the Nether look. Water has been changed. In the inventory, it gets a lave texture, and lava gets a water texture. But still, water has only a burgundy, solid color in the game. The Overworld nature has played with completely different colors, which even looks strong>creepy to some extent.

But still, now let’s move on to the Nether world. There, everything has been changed according to exactly the same principle. Now, the Nether looks like one incredibly huge mine filled with various animals and even nature. The crimson and distorted forest are themselves aesthetic biomes, and now they get an unusual green nature look unusual for the player, where there is a huge water lake and water flows out of many cracks. And the Soul Sand biome looks like a very big desert.

Let’s summarize. The Reverse World texture pack is pretty large-scale, with the textures of the two dimensions – the Nether and the Overworld have swapped places. The views of the green nature of the Overworld have been changed to red and hellish views, where regular water has been replaced by lava and vice versa. The same happened with the Nether, where our regular views of the Minecraft world have been introduced in the Nether.
