Review Mandala's GUI - Dark mode

Mandala's GUI - Dark mode

The Minecraft launcher allows you to change the appearance not only of blocks, armor, tools, or mobs but also of the entire GUI. After all, you are surely bored and fed up with the vanilla game style, right? So if you are reading this review and have decided to try something new, it is time to consider using a texture pack called Mandala's GUI - Dark mode, which changes all the GUI elements by making it dark. You can thus now change the GUI theme in the game launcher in a couple of clicks. When you are tired of the standard style, you can enable the dark one. When you want the light one back, you can disable the texture pack under consideration.

Review of the Mandala's GUI - Dark mode Texture Pack

The Mandala's GUI - Dark mode texture pack has only one task: to make all the GUI elements dark without affecting the rest of the content. That is, blocks, tools, armor, and the game world as a whole will remain intact. However, you can combine this pack with others to change particular game elements. That is indeed very convenient, as each user, using such a constructor, can adjust the style and appearance in Minecraft as they see fit in a couple of clicks. In turn, the Mandala's GUI - Dark mode texture pack is just one of the options to achieve this goal.

The first GUI type to notice is the standard main menu made in dark colors. Its shade is not completely black, though, but close to it, something like a mixture of gray and black. Everything looks stylish, catchy, and strict. This is a completely different style, which is as different as possible from the vanilla game version, so if you have not downloaded the Mandala's GUI - Dark mode texture pack yet, you are missing something, as it is nicer to play with such a GUI. And it is just the first GUI you see after launching the game, as the pack changes each and every element.

Next comes the hotbar. It has also become dark, but a golden frame appears around the active cell. Again, the developer of this pack has used contrast and strict shades, so everything looks decent, beautiful, and stylish. The same applies to the character's interface, which allows you to control its inventory, armor sets, elytra, etc. Have you noticed that Steve's model is now covered by glass? That is a unique solution by the developer, which you certainly have not seen anywhere before.

All the cells have been visually slightly deepened, and the borders between them are now thin and elegant. That looks quite decent, although one has to get used to playing with Mandala's GUI - Dark mode texture pack at first. Besides, you can install any pack along with it to change particular in-game elements or details, and that is a major advantage. Thus, you can additionally use some textures to change the appearance of ores, weapons, or devices related to redstone circuits. The options are numerous, and the possibility of a fine adjustment of Minecraft allows one to focus on any blocks or content types.

To show you how other GUI elements of Minecraft have transformed, we have examined several more objects with which you have to constantly interact, namely chests, furnaces, anvils, etc. Thus, the furnace's interface has acquired a small golden frame in the main window where you smelt resources, made in approximately the same style as that on the inventory cells. In general, it looks beautiful and contrasting. According to the developer, he has tried to use flat and modern colors, utilize a gray-blue palette, and make his pack compatible with most of the global mods.

The enchantment table, chests, and other blocks that have an interface also look unusual. The developer of the Mandala's GUI - Dark mode texture pack has tried to make an elegant and not particularly colorful game design option that would suit most users. He has basically succeeded and created one of the best dark GUI packs at the moment. If you are still in doubt, just look at how many user downloads this add-on can boast — more than 1,350,000 only from the homepage.

To conclude: the Mandala's GUI - Dark mode texture pack is eye-pleasant, contrast, and made in strict gray-blue shades. It looks uncommon, and you need to get used to it after the vanilla style. It is not recommended to play Minecraft in the dark with this pack, as the game world will be as dark as all the GUI elements, and you will require extra light. The main advantage of this pack is the support for Minecraft 1.19.3 and compatibility with other textures that change blocks, items, and other in-game elements. So we safely recommend it, and if you have any questions or suggestions, be sure to leave your comments below.
