Glimmar’s Steampunk

Are you no longer satisfied with vanilla Minecraft and its textures? Would you like to add some variety? You can install any texture pack you like. Currently, there are plenty of them available. Each player can find the desired style. If you like realism, you can install a realistic texture pack. Or do you like unusual textures of various styles? We invite you to install Glimmar’s Steampunk, which allows you to add them. This texture pack is designed in the steampunk style. Its resolution is 32x, which is slightly higher than the standard. This pack can help you make your world look more realistic and unusual.

Main Menu

The first change you can see when starting the game is, of course, the main menu. When you start the game, you see a different preload image. In the main menu, the background image also changes. You can see some kind of forest, in the middle of which there is a rather tall building. The title frame and the inscription itself take on a golden hue. The menu buttons have a similar color.

Interface

The interface of your inventory also change. In general, it looks golden. And in some places, the inventory is transparent. Inside the inventory, you see various animations and other items that fit together quite well. The armor slots provide a skeleton that becomes clearly visible when you should put it on. Behind your character, you can find a door to some cabin. Around it, there are a lot of items to open it. The health bar also changes. In general, its shape is the same and consists of hearts. However, they are colored golden. The saturation bar is different and consists of round pies. The experience bar now looks more like a capsule that fills with a green liquid.

Game World Sky

If you pay attention to the sky, you’ll see that there are no those ugly, square, old clouds. They are replaced by rather voluminous clouds that now cover the blue sky. These clouds have different shapes and colors. Some of them are lighter, others are darker. The sun will also change. Its color goes well with the daytime sky. Compared to the regular sun, the new sun is larger and much brighter. And what makes it look beautiful is, of course, its shape. The sun will change from being square to having a more rounded look.

Night Sky

You can also see changes in the night sky. You cannot compare this sky with the regular one since it’s absolutely different. You can detect various space objects on it. For example, you can notice some glows. The stars in the night sky also change. Now they differ from each other in their size, brightness, and magnitude. Some of them are closer to you and will look larger. Besides, the stars are located in a completely different way. There may be whole clusters of stars in the sky. The moon will also change. It will be shadowed, and only one small part of the moon will be visible to you. However, the moon will be very bright. If you look closer, you will see the entire moon, but most of it will be darkened. Unlike the previous moon, this one will have a more rounded look.

Grass

The grass block becomes darker. Besides, it looks less smooth since it has particles of another color. These particles are lighter. If you pay attention to the side of the grass block, you will see that it is completely made of grass and there is no dirt in it. When the grass block is in the inventory or anywhere else where it is an item, its side part looks different. It consists of a small layer of grass, and the rest is dirt. Some grass blocks have yellow particles as if they are some kind of flowers. In addition to yellow particles, you can see other particles, including white and light green.

Plants

The textures of all flowers change. They become more voluminous and beautiful. In general, the poppy and dandelion look rather similar to each other. However, the dandelion is slightly larger. These flowers have a lot of green petals, which make them look lush. Also, one flower may have several inflorescences. The dandelion has very large inflorescences, especially the one in the middle. The poppy has smaller inflorescences, but there are more of them. They are located both in the upper part and in the lower part of the flower. The blue cornflower is very small compared to other flowers. It has several stems, which are more voluminous at the bottom due to additional petals. The inflorescences are very small, but there are a lot of them. Besides, they are bluish and not as white as before.

Tulips will have multiple stems, and their inflorescences will vary in size. There will be numerous petals at the bottom of these flowers. They will give tulips a more lush appearance. The pink tulip will change. Its inflorescences will be colored pink.

The onion will have green petals in the lower part of its stem. The onion inflorescence will look lush, and its color will be a little darker. Daisies also will have very lush green petals and gain the shape of a small shrub with several stems. The inflorescences will be very small, but they will look natural. The tall flowers will also change. If you look closer, you will see that their stems are colored brown and look like trees.

The rose bush won’t look wide anymore, but it will become longer. Its inflorescences will be colored deep red. They will become smaller, but there will be more of them. The peony will have roughly the same inflorescences. However, their color will be different. They will become white.

Trees also have new textures, and their leaves look different from each other. The birch has an autumn texture since its foliage becomes yellow. The leaf block of the birch is made up of other particles that form leaflets. They are connected to each other with black particles, and the foliage doesn’t look transparent. The birch wood will also change. It won’t have any black particles since they will become brown. The oak leaves will look bright green. The oak will have quite lush and beautiful leaves that will be connected with twigs. The spruce wood will look gray, but its inner part will remain brown. The needle block will have a completely different color. Unlike the previous block, it will be very dark.

Sand and Some Other Blocks

The sand block will become much darker and not as smooth as before. The cactus will have a lighter texture. In addition, its spines will be colored white. The water will have a transparent texture, and its color will become lighter.

Paintings

The paintings will change. Some of them won’t look like paintings at all. They won’t have frames or any other parts that make them look like a painting. One of them depicts only one stick, and nothing more. It’s even hard to say it is a painting. Another painting is one block large and depicts various mechanisms. However, there is an image that looks more like a painting since it has frames and features a portrait. There is one more horizontal painting that is two blocks large. It shows a lot of devices that have different animations, for example, a red button will sparkle. A vertical painting of the same size shows two lines with moving particles. One of the largest paintings is divided into three parts, each of which has one mirror.
