So, as we’ve mentioned above, this texture pack focuses on changing your environment and actually other items to match the world-famous holiday –Halloween. It affects both nature: leaves, plants, and flowers, and accordingly, food and other items that can be related to the holiday. As the result, the pack is quite large-scale, so I suggest giving it a more detailed look. First, the interface has been changed, namely: the main background of the game, the game logo, the “Single player game”, “Multiplayer game”, “Settings” and other buttons, as well as the background in various tabs. The background has changed to the modified trees background that are waiting for us in the game itself. The game logo has changed to a more orange one, which is typical for Halloween. Well, the buttons have changed as well: there are now far more scratches and rubbers, which make them look more serious.

Unfortunately, these are all interface changes, but you’ll still like the main changes much more. For example, when logging into the game, we can immediately notice a significant change in the trees – the leaves of various trees have become redder and more orange, which make the Minecraft look more autumnal. Besides, one feature has been added to the grass textures – the grass near the trees has got the texture of fallen leaves, creating a full-fledged image of autumn. The plants have also changed. The leaf stems have become duller and withered, but all the beauty and aesthetics of the flowers have remained as bright at the same time. One of the most changed types of grass is worth mentioning as well, namely – a spreading fern. It’s not as spectacular as flowers, but this texture pack has literally turned its texture into a grave. They also have various versions, such as crosses and semicircles, and are made of various materials: stone, obsidian, gold and many more. A grave is one of the most irreplaceable details of Halloween, so many thanks to the author of this texture pack for this feature.

Let’s now take a look at the mobs. For example, a pig’s texture has been changed. Now, it has a cute hanging hat in the shape of a pumpkin top. The Creeper has also been reworked, completely changing its texture to orange, and now it looks like a pumpkin with a cutout for a Creeper’s face. Well, a chicken has been changed as well: it has got a completely black color, as well as bright orange shades.

Then, we have the textures of many items changed. For example, the enchantment table, has got a holiday-style orange carpet, instead of a red one, and the stove now looks like a pumpkin with a vanilla Minecraft cutout, contributing to a creepier game atmosphere. Modified trolleys are worth mentioning as well. Now, they have bright green slime leaking from inside, which can even glow in the dark. It’s a perfect combination with a modified stove and trolley. Food has also been changed, namely apple, bread, cake, and milk. Apple has got the texture of liquid caramel. Bread looks like a soft bun with a cross cut, and a cake has now turned completely orange, with a bat also painted on it. But the texture of the bucket has also been changed – now, your milk, water, and lava will stir up in the basket that look like a creepy pumpkin.

Also, we should mention that the textures of another type of food have been changed, but still all types of dyes have been changed to a separate type of food, namely sweets. There are various types of sweets: from marmalade worms, chocolates to other marmalades in popular orange color. And each dye has got its own candy color.

Let’s sum it up. The Default-Style Halloween Pack texture pack is a quite large-scale one, adjusting both the surrounding natural world and other items, which can be ideally given a creepy look, especially for this occasion, to the global holiday – Halloween. The author managed to notice and change many minor details and create a full-fledged autumn look for Minecraft, and on the holiday eve, even deeper atmosphere will be added!
