Conquest is a resource pack created for versions 1.7, 1.8. With a rather high resolution of 32, the textures will look very nice due to their extremely good detail. Some items will get a 3D effect, which may pleasantly surprise you.

When you start the game, you will see that the main menu looks different. There is another image in the background, which is a little darker and somewhat gray, as well as depicts a certain game landscape. However, you won’t be able to see much detail since the image is a little blurred. The main title of the game is replaced by the name of this resource pack – Conquest, which is colored dark brown and has a special symbol on its left side. The title is located slightly higher, its font is not as large as before, and its color matches the name of the resource pack. The menu buttons have a similar color as the resource pack name, which has white outlines and different patterns in some particular places.

The interface of your inventory will be redesigned to look more visually pleasing. The inventory has no frames and seems limitless. Useless slots with no content will be transparent, thanks to which you will see what is happening in the world while you are in your inventory. From one side, the inventory is supplemented with a gray chain with a dragon’s head at its end, which makes your inventory look more beautiful. The health bar will also change. In general, there will be the same hearts, but they will be a little smaller and have gray outlines.

Those white square clouds that do not go well with the beautiful blue sky will finally change. They will have different shapes, which will give them at least some realism. Their color remains the same. It is saturated with white colors, which is why you cannot see through the clouds. The sky also has some upgrades related to the sun. The sun will become round, but you can still see its corners. Most likely, this is due to the rays that are close to the sun. In general, the sun will look brighter and larger than before. In the night sky, there are also changes related to the moon. The moon will get a little larger compared to its vanilla counterpart. The color of the moon will be different. It is not quite realistic, but it looks much better. Also, the moon will have a rounder shape, which will give it a more realistic appearance.

The grass block is slightly dark at the top. Besides, this dark color blends in with the yellow as if to convey the autumn atmosphere. On the side of the grass block, there is a small layer of grass that differs in color and looks much brighter. The rest of the grass block is occupied by dirt, which also looks different. The dirt consists of some kind of small bricks, which are separated by darker particles. The tall grass will match the color of the block. What’s more, the tall grass will be swaying in the wind. The double tall grass will get larger and have the same changes as the tall grass, which means that it will also sway in the wind.</ p>

Flowers will get new textures. They will become more useful and visually pleasing. The dandelion and poppy will be very similar in structure. They will look like small shrubs, consisting of several stems with small but very beautiful flowers. However, they have some differences. The dandelion looks much more magnificent with its stems connected to each other, while the poppy stems grow from different spots. The poppy flowers are not so bright and seem to fade soon. The blue cornflower has a similar structure. However, it does not have a stem. You can only see many small white flowers, which in some places have a blue tint.

Tulips will have multiple stems in the same flower and look very large. These stems have green petals of considerable size, which is why the tulip does not look empty. The pink tulip has a completely different color and looks purple. The stem of the onion will become thicker and have green petals at the bottom of the stem. The onion flower will get even larger and more magnificent. The chamomile has one large stem with several stems extending from it. The flowers of the main stem will be larger than those of the extending stems. The tall flowers will also change. The rose bush will grow in size and be slightly taller than the peony. The flowers of the rose bush will get smaller, but their number on the bush will increase. The bottom of the peony has no flowers at all. There is only a stem with green petals.

The textures of all trees will change. This is especially true for the oak. The oak leaves will be colored gold, which is characteristic of the autumn atmosphere. However, other trees will have the same green tint. The oak wood will lose its brown color. It will be colored dark gray and have the same structural features. The birch leaves will get a little darker and look saturated with green colors. In general, all the leaves will no longer look transparent. Besides, they will be connected by slightly darker particles. At the same time, the birch wood will become lighter due to the lack of black spots on it. Instead, the wood has brown spots, which are mostly located at the edges. The spruce wood is similar to the oak wood. It is colored dark gray, but its structure is slightly different. The needles will also be a little darker and lose their transparency.

The sand block has a white texture, which looks pretty nice. Its texture will slightly change, thus making the block very smooth with no extra particles on it. The cactus will also change. It will look bright and colorful. Besides, it will have more spines, which will become lighter. The water will look unnatural. It will have a very dark texture, which is not similar to real life. The top layer of water has an animation, which implies a slight movement of the waves.

The images on the paintings will also change. Due to their very good detail, you can at least see something in them. Some of these paintings look quite unusual. They will have various items that will complement the interior. One of these paintings is a board on which you can see many knives of various shapes and sizes. Another painting is a blue shield with two swords on it. One more painting of the same size depicts a map with a small area. There is a two-block horizontal painting depicting a table with several items on it, among which there is a scroll, some kind of flask, and a very dark skull. The same-size vertical painting depicts a flag on a dark stick. The flag consists of two colors that are evenly distributed in it. The flag has a red border and an image of some kind of dragon in the middle. The big picture is more like some piece of faded paper and depicts some kind of world map.

The stone will have a darker and less smooth texture with separate particles, which look like pebbles. The cobblestone will also get darker and consist of stone bricks. Some bricks look rather smooth, while others have a rougher surface. The ore textures will also change to match the color of the stone texture. The ores have gems of different colors and shapes.

The blocks of these gems will also change and have different colors and appearances. After examining each block in detail, you will see that the emerald, gold, and diamond blocks will have dark frames along their edges. The gold block depicts the image of some kind of head, which will regularly sparkle. The emerald block also has various patterns, but there are no sparkles in it. Inside each side of the diamond block, there is a shape that resembles an octagonal diamond stone. It will sparkle like a golden block. The lapis lazuli block has a rougher blue tint. Each corner of the lapis lazuli block has one small cube, which is colored dark gray. The iron block also looks dark and has various patterns in it.

The textures of items will also look different. This mainly concerns gems such as diamonds. In general, the diamond will consist of one large stone colored light blue. Besides, there are several small diamond particles on the sides of this stone. The emerald will consist of two small tubes that have a green tint to match the color of the emerald. The gunpowder will consist of a brown tube that is open on one of its sides from where gray dust, i.e. gunpowder, will pour out. Each dye looks like a small dark bowl with a stick and includes a small hill of the corresponding color. The ink bag is a small bottle of ink with a pen next to it.

Both friendly and hostile creatures will have new textures. Thus, the cow will look quite unusual. It will be colored beige and have small dark spots on its fur. The pig will become dark brown and won’t look like a friendly creature at all. It will make an impression of a rather scary and dangerous mob. The sheep wool is not very smooth and you can even see curls spreading throughout the entire length. The chicken has the same white color. However, its back is almost dark brown.

If you pay attention to hostile creatures, you will notice that they look much creepier. The zombie has no clothes at all and there is blood on its body. In some places, there is even no skin and the bones are visible. One of the zombie’s eyes is completely missing. The skeleton’s bones look more detailed and slightly darker. The creeper looks very scary, especially its intimidating face. In general, the creeper looks darker. The spider’s eyes are smaller, but it looks even scarier. What’s more, the spider has some kind of red image on its back.
