Minecraft functions keep expanding with each major update, and almost all such events later get thousands of different modifications, textures, and maps with different themed-related saves. As soon as bees appeared in the game, players started producing and collecting honey, breeding the insects, and building automatic farms. However, the standard means of Minecraft didn’t show whether there are bees inside the hive or not, or how much honey there is. But you really need this information, don’t you?

And this is where the Visual Bee Items texture pack will help you. It will give you a visual representation of how many bees or honey there are in the hive, the nest, without resorting to third-party mods. At first, it will be difficult to get used to this texture pack, and you’ll have to take a close look at each nest in the player’s inventory or in the separate block, but gradually you’ll be able to do it automatically. It works correctly with other textures, performs only one task, so it doesn’t affect the appearance of blocks in any way but for bees. To be displayed correctly, it requires the installed OptiFine mod.

By default, all the hives and nests will look normally, and once you install the Visual Bee Items textures, nothing will change for the blocks you already have on the trees or ground. Don’t worry – this is normal. The main feature of this pack – is to display the amount of honey and the number of bees only for those blocks that are lying around as a drop. That’s where all the «magic» happens, which makes the full review with all screenshots worth reading. You should assess whether to download this pack for your assembly or not.

For example, if there were three bees in the nest when you hit it with the pickaxe, next to the dropped block, you’ll see the same number of insects arranged in a row one-by-one. At the same time, the nest or hive model is as detailed and well-drawn as possible, especially if you zoom it by pressing CTRL (only possible with OptiFine installed).

This system works both for nests that appear in biomes by default (they are most often found in the flower forest), and for hives created by the player to transport bees from one place to another. Almost the same system works for the player’s inventory. For example, if you have a hive or a nest with bees in your cells, the Visual Bee Items texture pack will display it.

The maximum possible number of bees in one «home» - three insects, so everything is well-thought-out here and it can’t display more than three insects in any state (as a drop or in the player’s inventory).

But if you install any third-party modifications for bees that add more insects to a hive, this texture pack won’t display more than three insects anyway, because the visual part of this pack is pre-drawn for each option. So, you have only two options: to use the game’s standard functions with Visual Bee Items texture pack, or install third-party mods without using these alterations.

This is all that the installed texture pack adds to the game; from the visual point of view, it is as cool and interesting as possible. Even when the block model is spinning on the ground as a drop, you can see all the details, the drawn bees, which makes this pack even more interesting. The developer added all possible options, both to display the amount of honey and the number of bees, and if you like to deal with this theme, breed insects, produce honey and different types of potions, then Visual Bee Items will come in handy for you for sure.
