THC Gui is a resource pack designed for the graphical interface. It provides an alternative gaming experience by introducing an updated dark style instead of the usual gray theme. The author compares it to a medieval style, which makes sense. The updated designs not only change the color palette but also interact with interfaces, modifying their elements and even their sizes. All elements of the game focused on Minecraft's interface are affected. Let’s go through each aspect in more detail.

Here, almost nothing new meets the player. The only update on the loading screen is the styling of buttons and settings that we can use. They are no longer just gray panels but emphasize volume and depth. It seems that they have their own edges and dimensions, achieved through the combination of dark and light sides that the author blends together.

Things get more interesting here. In-game, we encounter the player character. The hotbar and inventory have undergone more radical changes. In the hotbar, the icons and active slots have been styled and adjusted. The icons do not differ much from the originals, so adapting to them is easy. Nevertheless, the fresh palette of muted tones definitely benefits THC Gui, supporting the overall style. The same applies to the inventory (both in Creative and Survival). Instead of gray, it is now brown, emphasizing the slots. In Creative mode, the tabs are styled like notes that you can refer to, as if flipping through a book.

The last major update affected blocks that the player can interact with. What could have changed in the crafting table, furnace, chest, or enchantment table? All their interfaces have been successfully styled. In some cases, the author only changed the color palette to match the player’s interface. In others, empty space was reduced to free up more room. Some icons were replaced to better fit the overall style (like in the furnace). Some images were completely redone, offering a completely different visual style that suits the muted palette.

So, in the end, we have a memorable and original resource pack that offers a completely different vision of the graphical interface. Its big advantage is the absence of default interfaces that could break immersion. Getting used to it may be difficult since it differs greatly from the standard interface, but THC Gui definitely deserves players’ attention for its aesthetic and meticulous design.
