Review Realstuff64

RealStuff

RealStuff is an interesting resource pack that can boast unique textures. It will make the interactive world bright and colorful for you, and most importantly, it features a suitable color scheme. The game world will transform in many aspects; besides blocks, a lot of items will change, of course, for the better. The game environment will become realistic — this is one of the main goals of this resource pack. The RealStuff mod has 64x resolution, which is pretty high — at least much higher than the standard one. So, you will not have to worry about the detail level — the blocks and objects look smooth and elaborate. The designer has worked well on them, which cannot but please users. This resource pack can be installed on the 1.12.2 game version. You can also install it on any other version, but its correct work is not guaranteed in that case.

The grass block has now become darker and clearly different from the vanilla one. On its upper layer, well-drawn blades of grass can be distinguished; in general, although looking quite simple, the block looks realistic. Looking at the side of the grass block, you can see that the grass layer is very smooth, as if the block is covered from above. That does not look particularly beautiful, but still, there are pleasant changes. The texture of the dirt looks more realistic; it has become darker and acquired a good detail level. The grass now has a color similar to the new grass block. Its blades have become very short and almost invisible. The tall grass has also changed. It has acquired a whole different look, becoming quite tall but without blades of grass.

The structure of the foliage of oak and birch has also undergone changes. Their textures are basically identical, differing only in color. The birch tree's foliage looks brighter. On it, you can notice quite beautiful but insufficiently elaborated leaves. However, they look better than before. On some blocks of the oak's foliage, you can notice brown elements resembling acorns. This is a very nice change for fans of realism; however, you can find similar additions in other packs. The coniferous trees now look much more attractive. The respective block is now less transparent, and quite lush twigs with needles are distinguishable in it. Besides, the wood of the trees has changed, of course, for the better. The spruce wood now looks very bright, and you can notice cracks on its surface. The birch wood has now acquired a rather strange texture. The black stripes are now colored brown, and, in general, it looks consisting of some bricks. Pleasant changes have affected the oak wood — the bark is now well visible on it.

The sand now looks darker, but this change is not particularly noticeable. Approaching it, you can see that its structure has transformed. It now looks consisting of very frequent wavy lines, so some may not like such a texture. But the designer just wanted to show that the sand lies like waves. The cactus can now boast a highly attractive texture. Its green particles look lighter, along with its spines. The latter also have slightly transformed and become realistic. The water is now colored in a lighter and more pleasant shade, but because of its surface, it does not look as transparent as before. However, the transparency increases when viewed from a short distance. On the water surface, one can notice particles that form waves. Besides, there is also an animation of them moving smoothly.

The stone has the same color as before. It looks quite light and realistic, and various cracks are visible in it. The cobblestone has also changed. It looks light and consists of numerous very beautiful smooth-shaped stones. The ores now look different. Their texture is now not stony, as it is especially noticeable in the case of lapis lazuli. Precious particles within them now look different, and each ore has a unique shape of these particles. Thus, the diamond ore consists of light stones. Three of them can be noticed on each side, and they are quite large and beautiful. The coal has strips of brown and blue shades.

The precious blocks have also been affected by the changes. They can be divided into three groups. The emerald and diamond blocks have a similar structure and consist of bright and voluminous elements. The color of emerald and diamond ores looks more realistic, and they look sparkling. The second group includes the gold and iron blocks. On them, one can note inscriptions indicating the sample of these stones, their composition, etc. On the golden block, there is even information about the mass. The third group includes lapis lazuli and redstone blocks. They consist of iridescent particles colored in light and dark tones. They look highly attractive.

The glass looks more transparent — all because it now has no distortions. However, the transparent area itself has decreased because additional particles have been added to it. Frames painted in light brown color have appeared along the block's edges. Besides, they divide each of its sides into small squares. The tinted glass has also acquired frames, and they look neater. They are painted in light gray and are quite large. The color itself has become more pleasant, and the glass now looks lighter.

The texture of the wool block has also undergone changes. White wool consists of tiny squares, so their junctions are almost invisible but still distinguishable. Each wool type now has a unique texture. Purple wool can boast a particularly beautiful texture, which is immediately noticeable. The magma block has acquired a beautiful animation. The lava inside it will continuously diminish and self-ignite.

The chest is now painted in a darker color, and numerous golden patterns have appeared on it. The furnace now looks modern; it is painted white and so has become looking like a gas stove. The crafting table looks lighter. You can now see a lot of tools on it, which have clogged all the surfaces of the block.

One can also notice the changes in the planks. They now don't look so uniform and differ in terms of structure. The oak plank is now colored dark, and its sides are divided into several small squares. Besides, there are also elongated rectangles. Acacia planks have two textures at once, which look uncommon and attractive. The tropical wood planks are now painted dark green.

Many items have changed, becoming realistic and beautiful. The diamond is now white and looks transparent and sparkling. Its shape resembles a real-world diamond. The emerald has a rectangular shape and has also become beautiful. The dyes now have the shape of some droplet. The apple looks larger, and one leaf has appeared on it. The string now looks like a ball of threads.
