Number Your Hotbar!

From the very first days of Minecraft’s existence, the mechanics of selecting quick-access slots with the numeric keys were introduced. Many players don’t even know about it and keep using the mouse wheel only. But this system has one small inconvenience – in a critical, or even in not a very critical situation, it’s hard to guess, which slot this or that item is in. Usually, players just keep it in mind, or the knowledge just come with practice, but there is a far simpler option, where you don’t need to remember anything. For this, you should install a resource pack called Numbered Hotbar.

This work doesn’t do anything global, but it will become by times easier to count slots. Take a look at the screenshot above – now, there is a corresponding number above each square, which you need to press if you want to select this slot with the keyboard. And so that these numbers don’t overlap with a bold border, indicating the active square, the author highlighted it using yellow and a small green check mark. It makes it easy to understand, which square the character has chosen. In sum it up, we should say that the project is very good and doesn’t spoil the vanilla look of Minecraft; so, be sure to try installing it, because the numbering really helps!
