Review JavaBed UI

Get the Bedrock Edition UI on Java! Kind of...

The original goal was to do exactly what the title says, however in Bedrock Edition, buttons have multiple textures for if it's hovered over, activated, and greyed out when it's unable to be clicked.

Java only has the hovered over and disabled textures. There's no texture for when it's activated, and the entire UI uses these same 2 textures. (although the new World Creation menu does have tab buttons now)

Even worse, you can't change the color of the text depending on the state of the button, and making the text dark makes it unreadable due to the text having shadows. Due to all these limitations, I'm adapting the Bedrock UI in a way that makes sense for Java.

Update: I've decided that this resource pack will just be a add-on for Ore UI since they clearly know what they're doing lol. This pack will have all menus in dark mode, with support for mods like Create. Expect a rebrand and update in a couple of weeks

The page that annoys everyone, now prettier!

Note: There are different versions if you want the in-game UI (inventory, chests, etc.) or not. 0.1 doesn't have any in-game UI.

Use the Create mod? Use Bare Bones? Check out my other resource pack, Bare Metals!
