However, if you install some mods that add new ore types, the Simple Glowing Ore texture pack will not highlight them. So you should take this into account when playing with different add-ons or ready-made builds. Even so, you can combine this texture pack with other design options, for example, those updating the in-game GUI, other block types, animals, tools, or armor. Indeed, Minecraft allows you to use several packs at once, and they will not conflict with each other. It is enough just to specify their priority in the settings and get the desired result.

All the particles on the ore block itself receive the glow. That will not require the downloading of shaders or changing the game settings. However, for the correct display, you still need to install OptiFine. The ores glow perfectly both at night and during the day, but at night, you will clearly see which minerals are in front of you at the moment even from afar.

Another in-game application of the Simple Glowing Ores texture pack is the interior decoration. Thus, if the player accumulates a lot of ores, they can subsequently use them in the decorative design of paths, structure walls, room floors, etc. Indeed, while previously, in the vanilla version of Minecraft, all the ores looked standard and were not highlighted in any way, now they have acquired a special effect at night, which looks very beautiful. Another application of such ores is the creation of 3D pixel-art objects or paintings, to which the glow will give an additional nice effect.

Summing it up, we have a decent version of textures that solve several in-game tasks at once. So if you have not used such packs before, you have missed a lot. Moreover, it is not prohibited to use Simple Glowing Ores on most servers, as this pack does not make the soil transparent but only adds an extra glow that makes it easier to detect ores in Minecraft. Besides, it looks beautiful and can be used in the decorative design of any structures and objects. Also, with the help of such ores, you can capture impressive videos for YouTube, create paintings to hang them later in a frame, or supplement shaders to further improve the graphics.

Given so many advantages, we highly recommend that you try this pack. It comes in two resolutions: 16x16 and 32x32. By the way, the latter is based on the Faithful texture pack, notable for its clarity and vanilla style. The designer tested his textures together with the SEUS pack, but you can try other options.
