Clouds Pack - Persimo is a resource pack focused on realism, offering players an updated sky above their heads. It is designed to break the monotony of usual textures by adding real clouds, gradients, smooth transitions, and believable landscapes to Minecraft. Did the author manage to achieve these goals, or is the project not worth attention? Let’s try to figure this out together and also answer the question: “Will it be interesting for you personally?”

What do you think about Minecraft’s in-game sky? It seems rather ordinary and doesn’t offer anything special, serving only as a familiar and somewhat boring background. Clouds Pack - Persimo breaks from this idea, focusing the player’s attention entirely on the sky until they have fully explored all the new features. Both day and night were updated. It should be noted that in the End or during precipitation (rain or snow), all updated backgrounds disappear, which slightly breaks immersion. Now let’s move on to something more positive, starting with daytime.

We recommend disabling the default clouds in the settings so they don’t overlap with the new ones, as they clash and only spoil the overall picture. Now, when entering the game, clouds extend all the way to the horizon. White and airy, although actually you can find different types here. The sun and moon remain standard, but at least during the day, the sun almost blends with the rest of the sky.

At night, the light palette gives way to contrasts. The transition between them is also done at a respectable level. It’s enough to see such a glow and gradient change once. At night, the player will see much larger and more noticeable stars. Clouds remain visible, although naturally much less so. Unlike the sun, the moon is extremely bright (as expected). Overall, the views with Clouds Pack - Persimo are more memorable than in standard Minecraft.

This resource pack offers a new perspective on the familiar aspect of the game — the sky. The focus is on realism and expressiveness, which is evident in many aspects. Although Clouds Pack - Persimo has some minor issues, it definitely deserves players’ attention. Whether you prefer realistic textures or standard ones, the project is quite versatile and will fit almost anywhere.
