Bits & Tweaks LITE – small external upgrades in the interface and other items!

Sometimes, when playing the game, you may think about upgrading only the interface and certain items and textures. Many resource packs primarily offer us modified blocks, and only then all the rest as an addition. However, some authors have thought about it and developed projects that improve the game appearance only. One of these works is Bits & Tweaks LITE. It offers just some changes, like new buckets of fish or shortened swords.

The work is all about small improvements to various aspects of the game, from trivial eating to PvP opportunities. This version is a light one, and there is also a more elaborated one, but it includes too many changes, and the game ceases to be what the developers intended it to be. Everything is of a very high quality and well-though-out; no severe errors have been detected.

First, let’s take a look on the PvP, because here the author changed a lot of things. First things first, and so on until the very end. It should be mentioned that both swords, armor, and related resources have been changed.

Armor now looks more contrasting. You see a Netherite armor, and thanks to the contouring black stripes, you’ll immediately understand what kind of equipment it is, and you’ll see the enemy better as well.

Shortened swords — are a classic feature of all PvP resource packs. This is done so that the weapon doesn’t cover half of the screen, when you fight. Thus, your visibility will be much better.

Long-ranged combat now has a new texture; besides, you can now see which arrow you put into the crossbow. If it has some effect, then its color will change to blue, and the regular one will look the same as before.

The tools have also changed a little, but not for the best. Above, you can see the Netherite and Stone sets. During fights, which are common in mini-games, you open chests for just a few seconds to quickly grab a suitable weapon. But with incredibly similar textures like this, you can take the stone version for a really cool Netherite one and lose the fight.

Materials and food just got a more elaborated and beautiful texture of the item in the inventory. There is nothing to talk about here.

The End crystal is often used in professional PvP, so it has also been slightly improved. They just added more pixels, thus increasing its resolution.

The shield, like the sword, is now very small and short. It’s almost invisible on the screen, which is important for your visibility during a fight.

Pictures

They’ve been simply upgraded. And no, nothing has changed; it’s just their resolution increased by mane pixels. Take a look yourself.

Potion maker

Are you tired of looking for how to brew a required potion all the time? Now, the problem is solved once and for all. Every time you enter the cooking rack, you’ll see a small hint on the right way to make a particular potion.

Buckets

They’ve got a better texture. Nothing else.

Bookshelves

They can now connect to each other, which will have a very good effect on the interior of houses. A useful change.

Food hints

You know, there are mods that tell you how much hunger a particular product restores. But you don’t actually need in the vanilla, because the amount of food is limited, and it’s easy to remember everything. Well, you should still appreciate this too.

The Enderman and the Dragon

Their texture got more violet color, or to be more precise, purple. These mobs have only benefited from these changes, as they now look much better.

Interface

So, here we are at the most important thing – appearance of the buttons, text, and so on. Let’s start with the main menu, where the usual panoramas have been changed with the ones with shaders. Also pay attention to the buttons, as they’ve become darker and rounder.

The same happened to the menu; the colors have changed to darker, and the font have become smoother .

The interface is now very different during the game, as everything has got different colors. Instead of the hunger bat that looked like chicken legs, there are now golden apples, which you can also see in the food hint. The experience bar has changed and become multi-colored. The slots just changed to octagons.

And inside we have transparent windows, which always ensure visibility even with the chest open. This is important during PvP, although it certainly doesn’t look very attractive. Everything is designed in a kind of neon style, although the author says nothing about it.

So, this is all we wanted to say in our review. The author has tried to change important aspects of the game only, which don’t affect the appearance of the world, or rather the blocks. You’ll feel something new, although playing the same game. All changes were made in high-quality and without unnecessary details. Although you just need to get used to some of them.
