In-Game Sky

The clouds, which were square in the vanilla Minecraft and did not look particularly beautiful in the sky, have slightly changed. They have acquired a rounder shape, which is especially noticeable in the corners. They will become a bit cartoonish but basically look much better than the standard ones. The sky itself now looks much brighter, especially on a bright and sunny day, which cannot but please players. The sun is also shining brighter than before, and the rays are now radiating out of it, making it look even larger. Its shape has remained the same, though, that is, it is still square, although this cannot be considered a disadvantage at all.

Game World

The game world has become brighter, and the textures now look more vivid than before. So thanks to the sunrays and the skillful hands of the modder, we can now enjoy all the virtual landscapes. It goes without saying that all the objects now cast shadows, as such a feature is added by most shader packs. The shadows here are not particularly voluminous, though, but their very presence is the most important thing. You can also witness the swaying of plants, but it is very slow and visible only if you focus on a particular plant. The trees here do not sway at all, though, but that is not very significant. Anyway, you will get a brighter and more lively game environment without a loss in performance.

Water

At first glance, it may seem that the in-game water has not changed in any way, but that is not the case. If you closely look at it, you will notice that it has become more transparent, and its color has slightly changed, making it darker. Besides, you will now see moving particles that form waves. The underwater world is no less interesting, as it is now much brighter and with visible sunrays. The water has acquired a more natural color, which makes it look atmospheric and realistic.

Nighttime

The nighttime is now particularly spectacular. You should certainly catch the moment when the sun begins to set and the moon appears. At this time of day, you will witness a highly spectacular sunset, which will fascinate you with its beauty. With complete darkness comes,  you will see a thick fog at longer distances, which will make the environment even more atmospheric. The moon now shines very brightly and slightly illuminates the terrain, as is noticeable in some places. Travels across the game world at night will now be much more interesting, as you will admire every landscape along your path.

Lighting

While traveling through the night world, you have to place torches or other blocks to see at least something. The Complementary Reimagined shader pack completely changes this situation. You will not have to place a torch to get lighting anymore — it will be enough just to hold it in your hands, and it will glow. Unfortunately, the vanilla Minecraft cannot boast such a function, although it is very useful, and many players would welcome it. This applies not only to a torch but also to other lighting blocks. The latter are also capable of making the game world even more atmospheric and have acquired some distinctive features.

Other Changes

The changes brought by the shader pack have affected not only the Overworld but also the End and the Nether. Thus, while visiting the former, you will certainly appreciate the beauty of the sky. You will witness beautiful purple lights around, which ensure a fabulous atmosphere hardly expressible in words. So be sure to visit the End after installing the mod — it's certainly worth it. The end stone has also changed and acquired some liquid on the upper layer, which makes the block look fantastic. After reexploring the End, feel free to teleport to the Nether, which has also undergone certain changes. Even the portal itself now looks just wonderful and makes you feel like you are going to some mysterious dimension.
