SkyFactory 4 – a fresh look at the usual cubic world

SkyFactory 4 – is one of the largest technical assemblies, which opens almost infinite possibilities for the player to automate, craft mechanisms, and upgrade their survival. It consists of more than 200 mods and totally changes Minecraft.

The main feature of this assembly is that it is played on a small island but not in the ordinary Minecraft world with endless generation. It resembles well-known Skyblock, but it’s far more advanced and modern. Your technology won’t be limited to a cobblestone generator and a water source, as it usually happens. Here, you can build a real nuclear reactor.

Worlds

Before crafting a new world, you’ll be asked to choose its type. There are more than 30 different worlds here, and each of them has its unique features that will determine your survival. For example, you can choose the classic world recommended by the developers.

However, you can also choose a base on another planet. You’ll be surrounded by endless sands and dust, and you’ll have to survive on a small piece of land near a crashed satellite.

There’s an option with numerous cities floating in the air, which are covered with glass balls and connected by tubes.

Or you can go to a space station with its white walls, futuristic design and, unexpectedly, a tree in the middle.

There are a great many worlds to choose from. You can even survive on a one of many floating islands or enable the ordinary world of Minecraft. It’s up to you and depends on your interests.

Progress

Undoubtedly, the assembly, as well as the mod, are incredibly complex. Therefore, there’s a progress system in the game to make it clear. Every time you do something, you get achievements and hints to your further path. Thus, you don’t have to follow the single way, but are guided in the right direction.

This menu contains various sections where you can see different mods and assemblies. By switching between them, you can see what you’ve already done and what still have to do.

Cyclic

A very strange and at the same time important mod that adds an incredible number of different items to the game. It doesn’t have a clearly defined purpose but is just a set of items that you may find useful. For example, a harvesting machine, a magnet for items, a trampoline, a super carrots for your horse, and so on.

Deep Mob Learning

You can even automate the mob killing and loot extraction here. The Deep Mob Learning mod will help with this. Fight mobs, study them, and use your knowledge to craft equipment and all kinds of machines.

Mekanism

Work with ore, metals, and other materials in a new way. The multifunctional mod allows you to boost ore production efficiency, use various mechanisms and energy. In general, this is a perfect technical mod.

Industrial Foregoing

This mod is incredibly large-scale and can be used to improve and automate all processes in the game. Over 50 mechanisms will help to implement any, even the most incredible idea. But only if you strictly adhere to the operation rules.

Mystical Agriculture

A bit of magic in the assembly. This mod allows you to get resources, stronger weapons and tools not from numerous machines or mechanisms, but using magic and growing ore right in the flower beds.

Tinker’s Construct

A classic mod for crafting unique tools. Craft spare parts from any material, create and improve them in a way convenient for you. In addition to the mod itself, the assembly also contains many add-ons to it. So, it’ll help you to make extensive use of magic, metallurgy, and other areas of production.

Applied Energetics

This legendary mod provides you with the opportunity to fully control energy. Extract it from everything you see, convert it into different states, save it, transfer it from one device to another, and so on. Players who can understand how the mechanisms function will get access to almost infinite opportunities.

Nuclear Craft

Conventional energy sources are, of course, a good thing. But it’s much better to use the almost infinite power of the atom. The global Nuclear Craft mod can help you with this. With it, you’ll build a full-fledged giant nuclear reactor that can provide power for your entire base.

Twilight Forest

One of the few mods that is more focused on adventure than on building mechanisms, machinery and Redstone schemes is the legendary twilight forest. It adds a new dimension to the game, which is full of mobs, adventures, interesting places, and loot.

If you are playing on an island map, then the twilight forest will look the same. Huge dungeons will float in the sky like islands, and you’ll need to climb there.

All of them are incredibly large-scale and you’ll need a lot of time, effort, and resources to pass through them and fight the boss. And the artifacts you’ll get from him will come in handy for your further survival.

Food

There must be new food in each assembly to use the grown products much more efficiently and with greater interest. There’s not as much food here as in other assemblies, but still, you can find something. And all the farms that you’ll so patiently build using high technology can be used to produce food.
