How do you imagine the Little Mermaid's palace? It must be a magnificent castle with numerous turrets and corals sprawling on the ocean floor, with fish and turtles floating by, and somewhere in the depths, in the backyard, it must have a whole square for the reception of honored guests, in the center of which stands a statue of the King of mermaids. And that is not a description of a new cartoon but just another environment map for Minecraft.

The map consists of a luxurious underwater palace with elaborate buildings, the seabed, and even small fish and turtles. Everything looks very natural, bright, and solemn, as befits a king's palace. The king himself, in the form of the statue, is made extremely realistic even given the cubic specifics of the game. The map is interesting to explore: to look behind every coral or sea reef, imagine riding the turtles, or shoot a TV series about the underwater world among this splendid scenery.

It has already become a tradition that the structures themselves have no interior design at all. They are empty and, in some places, are not even buildings proper but just rocks shaped to serve as exterior decor. This map is not for completion or survival — it is about aesthetics, decorative locations, and creativity. Even so, if you wish, you can add it to your world and try to play something like underwater battles on a server with friends, as the designers have not precluded such a possibility.

Inside, under the castle, you will find another interesting feature of the map, namely the creators' gallery. The skins and nicknames of those who had a hand in creating this map can be seen in large honours boards inside it. That is very appropriate, given such a truly global and meticulous task they have accomplished.
