Integrated MC is a modpack focused on magic, spells, technology, creating your own class, and exploring various locations. It is aimed at a thematic gameplay experience with the possibility of role-playing. Its components not only refine vanilla Minecraft but also bring in something completely new. The world created here will be rich in map exploration and constant experiments with various mods, which are not just added chaotically for scale but work together for an overall impression.

Exploration and battles

The first thing worth mentioning is the unique structures that can appear in different corners of the world. In vanilla Minecraft, we have pyramids, temples, abandoned mineshafts, ocean monuments, and a few more structures. You are most likely familiar with most or all of them if you’ve been playing for a while. But what if there were dozens of such structures? Each of them has its own theme and backstory. This not only gives it depth and style but also allows adding suitable mobs to segments and even specific items you can find.

All such buildings are skillfully integrated into the landscape. They often have generation conditions, which makes sense. Each of these structures has its own unique blocks. They can be used in architecture or have a practical purpose — to block the player from certain areas or force interaction to move forward. Some of this content may be accompanied by individual quests that help gradually reveal the map. And the main reward for any cleared area is items. Sometimes it might be just junk in a forgotten chest, sometimes a valuable ring for a specific class with powerful stats, and sometimes a mysterious book or recipe needed to craft something unique or expand the player’s abilities.

Quest system

We briefly mentioned the quest system above, but what is it even doing in this modpack? You see, quests here make up quite a significant part of the gameplay. You can freely explore the world, and no one limits you in this. However, the author has included several quest chains that introduce you to specific mods and their features. There are also chains for biome exploration, completion of certain generated structures, and even a list of secret recipes you need to find to complete the modpack 100% (there are 42 in total). A whole list of mods is responsible for this, allowing the game not just to throw the player into a sandbox left to himself, but to give him a clear goal, for achieving which he will be rewarded according to the difficulty.

World changes

The innovations also affected the world itself. Many new natural and decorative blocks have appeared, filling new biomes. Standard Minecraft biomes haven’t gone anywhere, although they have been transformed. The new ones, however, are really worth attention — they are divided into two types: combined and unique. The first are combinations of already familiar base biomes merged into one. For example, a palm beach that uses desert and jungle blocks. The second category includes completely unique biomes, where unique structures for exploration appear. There you can also find rare and special blocks useful for building and designing.

Combat system

How do you remember the combat system of vanilla Minecraft? It’s swords, shields, and bows, and the bodies are covered in armor that differs only in durability and protection level. Forget about that, because Integrated MC offers a completely new perspective on combat throughout the game. First of all, it’s important to know that the new world runs on magic. This applies to new crafting tables, items, and even the player’s character, who can use mana. This means that if you wish, you can be a melee warrior, archer, or even a mage. Though no one forbids you from combining any branches to create your own build.

Instead of basic swords, the player now has knives, sickles, maces, axes, pitchforks, bombs, and rapiers to strike enemies in close combat. Bow and crossbow lovers now have a variety of projectiles and additional gear with different purposes. And magic and all its possibilities surpass the variety of standard weapons combined. It’s that versatile and flexible in use. And the best part is that among all this diversity, balance is maintained. It may not be perfect, but throughout the entire modpack, there are no universally powerful builds dominating all aspects without alternatives.

Magic and technology

Staying close to magic, let’s touch on its role not only in battles but also in peaceful life. Alongside technological progress, the game introduces automation, new machines, magic tables, enchantments, rituals, and even special quests tied to studying this part of the game. All of this is skillfully integrated into the modpack, and no part draws too much attention. If you wish, you can focus entirely on scientific research or magical rituals, devoting yourself to one path.

Included mods

Let’s go over the main mods that form the core of this modpack:

· Integrated Dungeons, Villages, Strongholds. The trio that forms the basis for generating all structures in the world. It embeds them into the landscape and calculates unique blocks and contained items.

· Simply Swords. This modification is responsible for the weapon variety. Each has its own characteristics and features that distinguish them from other counterparts.

· FTB Quests. Responsible for those quest chains that guide the player through the storyline, helping to reveal the world and narrative. Divided into several categories, each responsible for its own field.

· Better Combat. Adds new animations and effects for models. Applies only to mobs. It also affects the combat system and helps to better feel the weapon’s impact.
